did you have two guitars goin on there?

if you were editing it anyway to put two guitars, why wouldnt you just cut out the like 12-14 seconds at the begginning?

But even with out hearing the backing track behind it, i really liked that.

I doubled the guitar at the beginning (harmony and unison) and the end (unison).

I left the silence at the beginning because I though that's what the OP is going to use to sync it up with the backing track.

Thanks. :)

Hey i kinda dont know much about harmony. What'd you harmonize in? I don't do it or practice it or anything but i have a VERY basic understanding of it, but not much

I used F#minor scale as the basis for the harmony.
The harmony interval is a third.

Cool track dude! :D Sounds like Clapton!

It fit perfectly, so we need more people to put more stuff in.

Like Dave said, leave the silence at the beginning.

Here's a little snippet of how it sounds right now. I will add in a rhythm track once we get more submissions so that I can change the rhythm to fit people's solos.

only thing is, i dont know how to record with the space at the beginning... i click record on audacity then click play on windows media player, but theres a little second between clicking record on audacity and play on wmp.

Import the track into Audacity and then add your guitar over it.
Export only your guitar track when it's finished, convert it to mp3 and you'll have what you need to upload here.
