My new Les Paul

Hey just thought I'd share some pics of my new Gibson Les Paul. It's a '58 Reissue, and since I work at the custom shop, it's not exactly stock ;) But since I was able to hand select all the wood and parts, had the neck rolled just to my liking, and had the color just like I wanted it, I'm not sure I could ever have anything to replace it :) http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lespau...e2.jpg&.src=ph

Since it's not exactly stock, what parts are on it? I understand that it sounds like a custom instrument, but I guess what I'm askign about moreso is the hardware and electronics side of it.

Well it has a bone nut instead of the normal plastic ones. The electronics are custom Jimmy Page pickups with a coil tap on the bridge pickup, nothing too out there, just pleasantly different.

how much did that cost??

Very nice. Looks pretty awesome. Though, I personally would probably never own a Les Paul because they are so darn heavy!

That's the beauty of picking the wood. She barely tips 8lbs.

Well I'll say it'd be about half of what you'd pay for it in a store. That's the only reason I was able to get her, too ;)

I actually played a '58 Reissue not too long ago, twas nice.

Comparing the two, though, I like my own LP just fine. But that is one niice axe.

Are you a builder in the shop?

Awesome guitar, man. I have a Gibson Les Paul, but nothing that good. :goodnope:

I am seriously considering getting a Gibby LP Studio soon. From what others have said, reviewed, or made known they are incredibly durable and long-lasting guitars that only get better with time. Nice LP Sam.
