Hey Andy, there are some great sites for learning electric guitar.
First of all, if you learn how to play one guitar you can pretty much play any guitar.

You can start with this one. On CGR, we have Lessons and Chords.
Another great site that I enjoy using is Ultimate Guitar. This has some great stuff on here, so have a look through there and you should find some good stuff.

It's not christian, but Bobby Crispy is an excelent guitarist and has good metal lessons!
