The first one made me want to pound my face into a wall after the first run through, but it sounds like they\'ve really expanded and improved on the original concept. \r\n\r\nAnd Venice will be awesome. A short list of new things/abilities:\r\n\r\n-You can SWIM! Thank God.\r\n\r\n-Pick up weapons from fallen enemies\r\n\r\n-Blend with any crowd, not just monks.\r\n\r\n-There is a money system. You get money every time you do...anything. And you can buy all sorts of good stuff with it. \r\n\r\n-There aren\'t any passive missions like eavesdropping and pickpocketing. \r\n\r\n-There is no big empty "kingdom" space. What space exists between the cities has plenty of side missions, just like the cities.\r\n\r\n-The hidden objects in this game are much more than just flags, and always yield immediate rewards for being found. Namely lots of money. \r\n\r\nSo yeah. But I\'m still renting it first...', '0');

It is about a video game....well, anyway...here I go...\r\n\r\nWell, my dad got this new video game, Dragon Age: Origins. I\'ve been playing it...and I have to say it\'s pretty fun. The fighting sucks, I think, because it\'s not real time combat...the story is pretty cool, though. But anyways...moving on....there are some things about that game that bother me. Like, how some mages can be possessed by demons....and how the characters in the game are always talking about spirits and things being inhabited by spirits and stuff like that. And they\'ve got little idols everywhere in the game. And the game has a dark feel to it. And I really don\'t like that. And it bothers me when I play it. Also, the game is SO ADDICTING!! I stayed up until 3 a.m. this morning playing it...I had started at around 8 p.m., I think. When I finally did go to sleep, I had the most unpleasant dream. It was bloody and very dark....had the darkest feeling to it. I think maybe I had it because of the game....because of the feeling of the game. Anyway, so right now....I\'m struggling with playing the game or not. Because it does bother me...it bothers me a lot. Then again, I think I\'m addicted.\r\n\r\nHas anyone else played this game? 	threads[7] = new thread(182176, 'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2', '62646', 'tht00', '11-11-2009', '12:45 PM', 'I\'m kind of surprised there is no thread here yet.\r\n\r\nI finally caught up to the 7th generation of gaming and purchased an Xbox 360 the other day.  I\'m not unfamiliar with the console, and I often played split-screen (mostly Halo3) with my friends.  Figured it was time to get my own.\r\n\r\nI also picked up CoD4: MW2 on a bit of a whim (and all my friends were getting it).  I was a huge fan of the very first (PC) Call of Duty and expansion (still occasionally play United Offensive), and after seeing CoD2, was a little leery of the direction of the CoD series, and having a dated PC and 6th gen console, never got back into it.\r\n\r\nSo far, I\'m very impressed.  I haven\'t had a chance to touch the Campaign yet, but the multiplayer is fun and the maps I have seen are excellent, and the special ops mode is a blast (reminds me of Rainbow 6, Vegas 2\'s terrorist hunt, but faster paced and more scenario-like).\r\n\r\nAnyone else get it?', '19');

I never buy them myself, but my brother used to and I always loved playing them.  We had 2006 and 2007, EA Sports ones. \r\nWell now I live with my cousin and he just downloaded NHL 10. Holy crap, that\'s realistic.  Everything from skating to check someone, missing and hitting the boards, and injuring yourself that way or getting in a fight and injuring your jaw, then that player wearing a jaw brace for \'x\' amount of games.  It also has a mode where you can create a player in a dynasty sort of thing, and get drafted (you don\'t have a choice of what team you get drafted by).  You only play that player and if you don\'t play well enough, they send you to the minors where you still have to play every game, until you get bumped up again.\r\n\r\nMy cousin and I have a season going where we play 2 player. Holy crap thats difficult.  We\'re 3-21, haha.  And it\'s only on \'pro\' difficulty (next up from easy).  It\'s crazy hard, for us anyway.\r\n\r\nAnyway, anyone else have this game? Many developers make games with an 18+ rating in mind, but currently, because there is no R rating on games, one of two things can happen to these games when they reach our shores:\r\n\r\n1. They can be forced to be modified slightly- "watered down" if you like - then released with an MA15+ rating\r\n\r\n2. They can be banned altogether\r\n\r\nRecent examples include F.E.A.R. 2, which was banned at first but was later released after the developers appealed against the classification decision; and Left 4 Dead 2, which was also banned, but a heavily censored version is soon to be released. It is a very generous offer!\r\n\r\nMy only concern is the peripheral costs and other hidden costs. Off the top of my head I can think obviously of more games, which seem to be $20-$60 each. I can also think of perhaps another controller set. We are also huge Beatles fans so I can see us saving up to buy [I]The Beatles: Rock Band[/I] which is $160.\r\n\r\nAm I missing any other hidden costs? Is this a gift or a curse? Our budget is tight as it is.\r\n\r\nNeither of us can think of another "big" gift to ask for instead of this. I hate to ask for cash that would just go into savings.\r\n\r\nI can\'t honestly say that if we got the value of all this in cash, that a Wii would be my first choice of a purchase (besides saving it).', '21');
