Discover America is a new band on Tooth and Nail. The vocalist of the group is former twothirtyeight singer Chris Staples. They have two songs up here, and another song here.
I am in love with the band. I am left without a choice but to get the CD that comes out on the 26th. I'm also rather happy that Tooth and Nail actually signed a good band.

Have you listened to the E-card on T&N's site yet? I just did and was dissappointed with about half of the songs, but there were half that I absolutely loved. I was looking foreward to this release quite a bit after I received their 7", but I don't know what to think any more. Is the album more like the songs I love or the songs I could live without? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Which songs did you love?
I purposefully haven't listened to the new songs on the e-card, meaning that I've only heard "Green Eyes," "Call It In The Air," and "1986." I ordered the CD yesterday, and it will get here either tomorrow or the day after that (modern international commerce is amazing, isn't it?).

I got the CD in the mail yesterday. :D
I really, really like it. It's really not "great" lyrically, but the music and vocals are so fun to listen to...at least for me. There are not songs identical to "Call It In The Air" or "Green Eyes" or "1986," but the other songs are also fun to listen to in their own right.
