Has anyone bought his CD yet? I listened to the clips and it sound extraordinary. I plan on buying this CD when I get my paycheck the 8th of December. The CD is only $12.

Several years before joining Five Iron Frenzy I discovered a passion for worship music. In college I first attempted to express my heart to God in songs. During that Time, I read a book by Eugene Peterson called "A Long Obedience in the Same Direction". This book draws illustrations from a body of scripture called the "Psalms of Ascents", Psalms 120 through 132. These psalms at once touched me in their sincerity, depth, and relevance to every day life, so much so that I put a few of them to music.

That was nine years ago. After all this time I have finally finished this project of interpreting the psalms of ascents into my own music, and sometimes my own language. I sincerely feel like God drew near to me as I attempted to understand and somehow communicate the riches of God's words. As I recorded the songs this Spring at One Way Studios, I prayed that I could capture them well, and that somehow the songs would communicate God's heart to the listener.

God Speed, Dennis

I really enjoyed this CD the one time I listened to it... what was that... 4 years ago? Something like that. It might be a good thing to add to my collection, though.

ANyone else think it's odd that he goes by Dennis Bayne for this CD? I asked him about that. He said Bayne is his middle name (with Culp being his surname)
