anyone heard them before? all they have out right now are two EP's. they are in the studio recording right now.... the album is supposed to be out sometime in like feb. or march. they deserve a listen. this band is one of the most outright christian bands i have ever heard. you have to see their live show, and hear the lead singer lay it out for you. they are amazing, and you can really feel the presence of God at their shows. absolutly amazing. you can hear them at : www.purevolume.com/dizmas or thier website is www.dizmas.com
check them out

wow that is like the one word that describes this band! I've seen them in concert 3 times, know the bass player (Nick), and the guitar player (Jon), and have their cd. Their live show is amazing, one of the greatest shows I've ever seen, them as people, they some of the nicest guys I've ever met and they want their music to glorify God above all else. Their new cd is incredible, I would give a 9 out of 10. It's an awesome and considering it's their first it's one of the best.

their new album is just plain awsome. i think everyone should go buy it, or buy a few copies while you're at it.
my favorite songs are Saturday, Night Divine, Revolution, Redemption Passion Glory those are like my top 4 but they are all just cool.
live shows are the best, you're right ive see them 6 times. at the show on the 9th, like my ride wasnt coming but they waited with me till like almost 2 in the morning i think it was... there were some other ppl there two but it was like 3 hours after the concert was over. it was awsome... i cant wait till they come back thru here, i miss 'em

I heard Let This One Stay on my CHristian Rock Hits X CD and thought it was cool but I don't know, their other stuff just doesn't seem to be as good as that song.

I think their best tracks are 'Revolution' and 'Redemption, Passion, Glory' you should try those if your on the boarderline.

I went and saw Dizmas at a show in Dallas, Oct 21st. I gotta say it was one of the best shows i've seen in a very long time. The second they hit the stage you could just feel it, the glory. They where not there to put on a show for us put to glorify the lord. It was awsome to be apart of it.
Bonus was, it was Zach's B-day (lead singer) aswell. Another thing that was great was as soon as they where done playing they just stepped down off the stage and hung out. If you wanted to talk to any of them or ask anything they were more then happy to do so.
After seeing Dizmas live, when i hear any one of their songs now.......well it's hard to explain but in a word i guess you could say fuller. Wait is that a word ? The songs are just stronger now.
If you get the chance to see these guys live, don't miss it !!

My friend recently told me to listen to them. They're pretty good, a nice change from the screaming I normally listen to, much less distorted.

That is true. Very Billy Talentish screams. Less grit.

The type of screaming is one of the things that caught my attention. I'm not a big fan of the deep growling. Well some band it fits perfect and they pull it off great but, anyway....The screaming in Dizmas songs is more then just screaming, it's singing to me. It reminds me of the the old thrash stuff from the 80's .
Also love the way they'll have 3 diff guys singing diff lyrics at the same time.

Yeah, it is kind of Billy Tallentish. A little bit of AC/DC too.
