Dead Poetic anyone?

Who likes these guys? I think they are pretty good. My bro lent me their CD. My faves are Vanus Empty, Taste The Red Hands and New Medicines.

Hmm... I like the the screaming. If you don't like that part, I don't think you'd like alot of the rest of the album, it has A LOT of screaming.

I was really in love with <i>New Medicines</i> for a while. I stopped listening to it for a while, and then when I listened to it again it just seemed......boring. There's a few good songs in there that I still enjoy (Taste the Red Hands, Glass in the Trees, Modern Morbid Prophecies), though.

The first listen, I really didn't like it, but that's usually the case with me. It is a very good CD.

Their guitar player and drummer just quit and was quickly replaced with the guitar played from Beloved and a drummer who has played with Demonhunter and Poor Old Lu

yeah i think dead poetic is a very good band. new medicines is a great cd and if u like it check out thier first one four wall blackmail. one of my favorite songs all time is glass in the trees.

Yah, Glass In The Trees is a great song, so is pretty much everything else on that album. Did they really replace their guitarist and drummer? That's a pretty major lineup change.

Saw them night before last in concert, bought a Tee-Shirt... they are my favorite band right now... read the Lyrics for Glass in the Trees, extremely deep, but hard to figure out unless you read a lot of poetry... their lyrics are all really deep and their musicianship and showmanship are excellent check them out... (oh and i got to hear a new song called the victim that's gonna be on their next album and it rocks).... one question, is Dead Poetic a christian band, i can find no evidence in any of the lyrics i've read...

They are christian, they have said it on there website but i dont remember where on the web site i read it. also, glass in the trees is about a friend of the band who died in a car accident.
