Dead Poetic: New Medicines

Dead Poetic's new CD finally came out today! I'm sad to admit it, but I was broke so I couldn't get it today. :( Who all of you got it? How are you likin' it? I heard some of the songs off of www.new-medicines.com and I'm loving it. :D Especially "Hostages" and then "Modern Morbid Prophecies". So different from their old stuff.

I got this CD today! And Omigosh, I must say... this is one of the greatest albums I have ever heard. It's simply incredible!!! My favorite's so far are "Bury the Difference" & "Hostages". I love the art on the inside of the insert... (which is all of the guys faces, only they are all blotted over with that red ink) Everybody who doesn't have this CD go out and get it now.. and if you dont.. well... buy or die! ;)

All the samples have made me "ehhh....". It's way more main stream. They call it "maturing their sound" I call it becoming more marketable. Oh well. I'll take sterochild and the like over the new album I believe :).

Quite. From what I've heard of their first album, I think Dead Poetic did something like what Blindside did after signing to Elektra.....I guess that's why I like it, I guess.

I'm kinda curious as to whether the BAND wanted to make this change musically, or if Ebel wanted them to.....But regardless, I like it.
