Does anybody remember Dakota Motor Company from a few years ago? They put out three great albums and then kinda vanished. One of the guys in the band was Peter King who was one of the hosts of Sandblast on MTV. I remember how all of my friends thought it was so cool that a Christian rocker was all over MTV.

Anyway, I'm trying to find out what happened to DMC - and especially, Peter King. Anybody know??

Peace.

hey, john.

four and a half years later, i found your post

i rember DMC...i saw them play at a church in Michigan around 95. it was one of the most fun shows i've ever been to. peter was great. i remember at the end of a nice long set he said "alright, this is our last song. we don't do encores, because we think they're cheesy." then they played they're last song and headed off stage, and everyone started yelling for more. after a few minutes we realized he was serious, and laughed it off.

PK was also a pretty well-known surfer, too.

so where did they go? not much on the web about them anymore.

post back if you're still out there.
