Well What can I say they are....The Best! There has been alot of debate about Chris being a christian, and once and for all, YES! Chris is not outspoken about God in his lyrics, and most people seem to hate on him for it. Especially the song Hands Down. I have asked him about this, as have other people who interviewed him, and he has said that the song is not about sex as is implied. He is saying that being with the girl on a date is enough. You do not need to have sex with her to make it a successful date. Growing closer to the person as an individual should be the aim of the date, not sex. Anyways, What are your favorite EMO bands?

You're trying to combine two threads into one. One about Dashboard Confessional and one about emo bands in general.

I'd start new threads for each topic, if I were you. The one about DC should probably go in secular music, and depending on if you want Christian or secular emo bands, it should go in either the secular or Christian music forums.
