View Full Version : Who else bought Free at Last: The Movie?

I bought it last month. I really think it's a great movie if you're interested in dc talk (to quote Jesusfreakhideout.com's review on it "I couldn't imagine anyone besides diehard dcT fans sitting down for 90 minutes to watch something like this.). I especially like the Artist Commentary, 'cause it brings you up to date with the band, it doesn't leave you hanging with the impression that dc talk is like it was in '93. Then the deleted scense are cool, and so are the music videos ("Jesus is Just Alright" and "The Hardway").

Yeah, it definitely wasn't Star Wars or Spiderman, but that's pretty much why I like it, I really like being nosy in my favorite artists lives..... :D :rolleyes:

I thought it was pretty cool. kevin did some pretty stupid things like jumping into a freezing lake, which was pretty funny. pretty good though.

I really liked it. Maybe I'm a diehard dc Talk fan. My favorite part is when they were in San Fransisco and one of them said something like, "I'm gonna ride the rice-aroni train." I don't know why I like that part... I just do.

I think it was Kevin who said that. My Mom got a good kick out of that.

It was hilarious! Definitely one of the highlights of the movie.

I watched the artist commentary for the first time a few days ago. It was quite enjoyable... in fact ever since I watched it I've been listening to dc Talk practically nonstop. First was Free At Last and then Nu Thang and now Supernatural.

I watched the artist commentary for the first time a few days ago. It was quite enjoyable... in fact ever since I watched it I've been listening to dc Talk practically nonstop. First was Free At Last and then Nu Thang and now Supernatural.
The artist commentary....Man, that wasn't what I was expecting. It's cool. Especially Tait reflecting on his hair back then......Ewww.

And I can relate a lot to listening to dc talk after watching it. That's what I did. I should probably watch the movie again, too.
