Should we keep him associated with Sonicflood or give him his own forum? Check out Sonicflood anyway, and see what you think! See sig!

Given the fact that Jeff Deyo left Sonicflood a LONG LONG time ago and is now a nationally released solo artist, he better get his own forum.

On another note...somebody get Sonicflood to change their name. The current "Sonicflood" is a disgrace to the original CD.

Personally I agree, although others are not as berating haha. Geez, it's like Jeff Deyo's album is where Sonicflood woulda gone if they hadn't broken up and all! Heck, why don't we change the Sonicflood forum to the Jeff Deyo Forum?

Still, you can't help but associate Jeff and Sonicflood and the other former members, you just know that the first place someone is gonna look for Sonicflood offshoots is in the Sonicflood forum...

There was no Star Trek V.

There was nothing after the first Highlander movie.

And there was never anything by Sonic Flood after that first CD !!!!!!! :) :)

Well, we ALL know that the even numbered movies were the best ;)

But, I gotta say that Sonicpraise was a good album, about a 9 on a scale where the pink album was a 10. :D Whatever has Jeff Deyo, THAT's the good stuff haha

I gotta go with Gus on the Sonicpraise album.

But I actually thought the grey one was better, cause it striped away all the comercialism and they were able to worship freely and it so awesome to hear their heart as well the music!

Jeff Deyo was the earthly heart and soul of Sonicflood and when the rest of band asked him to leave they were asking for their own downfall.

When you hear Jeff speak he is so on fire and after God's own heart! He has the voice and life of an unquenchable worshipper and that is what ended the original Sonicflood. Jeff followed Jesus, and the rest wanted to do their own thing.

It would be cool if they did a Sonicflood reunion album, God willing. Keep praying! and give Deyo a thread!

Yeah I'm so like with Reje on that! When I listened to the grey album the first time, I went through the first couple of tracks going okay ho hum cuz it was musically stripped down from the album without going deep into the spirit. When it goes to Holy One and You're Worthy of my Praise, that's when it kicks in and it all just takes off!

Just for the sake of debate/devil's advocacy... Yes, it wouldn't have been SF without Jeff Deyo, just another rock band. BUT, Jeff Deyo would have been just another worship leader without good people backing him up. That's why he's so good musically even without the old band, he musta known to gather good musicians around him.

Oh yeah, and there never woulda been any success if God hadn't blessed it.
