So, all in favor of Inhale Exhale, say "aye". They are what I call metal. I am listening, and I'm like, "these guys must have two guitarists". I was wrong. They only have one, and he is so off the chain, that I can't even describe it.

Just because they only have one guitarist doesn't mean they don't over dub with another guitar, which they do.

These guys are excellent, one of my current fav artists of all time, from Reliant K to this, pretty sweet.

The first time I heard them was at a show. They were absolutely terrible. The vocals were horrendous and the band was not tight at all. Live shows make or break a band in my opinion and they did not impress me at all.
I commend Brian Pittman on leaving pop-punk but he's not doing metal any favors.

Is it possible you caught them on a bad night? That they're much better as a live band, but they were having an off night?
To be honest, I haven't even heard these guys yet.

doubtful. I've seen them twice since that show and every time they've been very unimpressive.

O.K. Sorry, that was noobish of me. Do they hire an extra guitarist to do the other guitar parts at live shows?

They might, or they could just leave out a lot of the lead stuff. TFK has 2 guitars in their songs, but they only use one live, so they leave out the solos and stuff.

No, they've only had one guitarist the 3 times I've seen them. I'll give them credit for that, they do a good job of filling out the song using one guitarist.

Err.. I just said that they'd probably only use one.

You said "they might". Even so, I was actually replying more to j2_da_k, I just hit wrong quote button.

I like this band. I really wanted to go see them when they came to New Orleans.

I really like this band, too bad they're not coming near me on the tour with Life In Your Way.

I got their cd. I loved it at first, but the vocals were mixed too low and it's sickeningly repetitive. I love "A call to the faithful", though. That song = shnazzy.

Awesome band. If you anything about modern metal they're not original at all but certainly very good. I'd say both the screaming and overall sound are similar to Underoath or Atreyu, which is funny since all three have the screamer & singing drummer lineup.
"Frail Dreams and Rude Awakenings" is definitely my favorite song.
