My girlfriend got me the 200 for Christmas. I love my girlfriend. Just one thing that I wanted to point out. Someone asked if you could change the distortion and whammy and stuff while you play and another person answered that you have to have it set before you play. Not true. You can set the wah pedal to act as the control for the level of whammy, dist., etc. You can even set the high and low for the pedal. And about the tone, my I recommend turning the amp modeling off and setting the EQ to level and using the distortion from the amp and the tome setting from the amp. Better sound I think. I haven't looked at the 300, though sorry.
