Hey, I saw something like this over in the bass thread.
Basicly, it was a lot of "down-with-the-guitarists-don't-let-them-take-over" hooey. They were talking about how the bass was more important than guitar and whatever. Anyway...

I just posted this to say, Keyboard's ROCK. We can do more than most musicians, and are the most versatile instrument out there. We need to stick together here- I mean, the bass thread gets more posts per day than we do! Come on guys!

Well it is, but that's not important right now. :D

Obviously you've never heard of the Stick (http://www.stick.com). It's at least as versatile as a keyboard.

And don't think bass isn't versatile. Ever heard Stu Hamm's version of The Star Spangled Banner (http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/132/stu_hamm.html)? That's one take, no overdubs, on a 4 string bass. And that's nothing compared to what he can do.

BTW, I'm not trying to diminish the role of keyboards, I think they're great instruments and I have much respect for those of you who are able to play them well.
