was just curious before i went and bought something?

I'm going to buy a kyser capo for my acoustic, i was going to buy one for my electric but I was just wondering if there really is difference between the kyser capo and a kyser electric capo

I don't believe there is a difference. I have a cheap capo I got at Target for 3 bucks that I use on all my guitars: my electric, my acoustics, and my 12 string.

If there's a dif, I've never heard of it. I think there might be a capo made for 12 string guitars, but I'm probably wrong. I use the same capos on my electric and those few and far times I can get my hand on an acoustic.

Theres no difference. I asked the guy at guitar center around when I purchased my first capo and the guy said taht there wasn't any difference at all. Maybe the dimensions of the capo to suit the neck, but nothing drastic.

The capo I use on my acoustic with no problems completely throws out the intonation of my electric. Could just be my guitar, but I can't use it.

Get an adjustable capo like a Shubb, then you don't have to worry about it.

I second the shubb for the electric. Kysers alway put too much tension on my strings making them go sharp. I use a Kyser on my acoustic and a shubb on my electric (although I don't often use a capo on my electric much anymore)
