Another band from good ole Canton...

Yeah the lead singer/song writer/lead guitar goes to my school and is in choir/ensemble w/ me. They have one demo out right now, and are currently recording their last independent right now. The three songs on mp3.com are from the new one. The first demo kinda had a punk sound going on, but now its straight up rock. These guys are like one of those amazing HS bball players... you just know they will be signed in the future. On the recordings, Todd layed down all the tracks. I never knew this about Todd until today, but he used to play bass for Candle Rain.

BTW- They will lay claim to Akron... Oh well its basically the same place.

I've heard of these guys...I'm friends with their manager. yeah. i've never heard them play, though. Another AMAZING Akron band is Clemens...have any of you guys ever heard them?

Yep that is them...although they cringe if you call them 'emo.' they're playing a show tonight with Narcissus, but I don't think I'm going. Anyway, they're incredible.

well i didnt mean emo as in like dashboard confessional wussy emo, like the real emo, almost even hardcore, but actually singing n not screaming, and its just really really heartfelt...

I didnt notice till just now after checking out the Glass House website ( www.glassarmy.com )that they were playing there.... I live not even 2 minutes from the Glass House. In fact, 4 kids from school that have their own band (they stink, but they are like our sister band) play there quite often. If I would have realized sooner I would have made an attempt to see them since you say they are good.

aw bummer. They don't play ALL that often, so yeah, you should catch them if you can sometime. I've been to the Glass House before...the guy who owns it is really cool.

there haven't been a bunch of good local shows lately that i know of...luckily Brandtson is playing next weekend at the Grog Shop, and i'm DEFINITELY there.
