ok so i mgiht be able to get in with an apprenticeship with an electrician company my uncle deals with he's a plumber but its the same place so.

and so i really want to do it but I was wondering. what should i learn or know about it?

they'll teach most everything but id like to come in knowing some already.

for household wiring, i think you ought to know a good bit about parallel circuits, understand wattage, amplitude, voltage, and the relationships between the three. other that that it's mostly common sense. (turn off the power at the breaker/fusebox, etc.) but really the only really big thing to learn is how to best wire things together, and there's no easy formula for that, it must be learned. other than that, it's completely different from work as an electronics tech, you'll need to learn how to run wires, (through walls and such.) install new boxes for components, how to locate wires in walls, stuff like that. it's almost more like construction/home improvement-type work than electronics work.

yeah thats ok thoguht ive worked construction and stuff since i was like 12 my grandpa does construction so i work with him alot. so i know alot of that stuff.
