That's my understanding anyway. Plumb broke up a few years ago. Tiffany got pregnant and put her career on hold. The band more or less broke up, that's why they put out a "best of" album after just 2 cds. I've been told that there's no reason to believe that they'll ever be back, which is a real shame, but I've always figured the best time to quit is while you're popular.

First off, welcome to the site! Glad to respond to your first post. But I'm afraid you've been sadly mis-informed.
Plumb (who is actually just Tiffany Arbuckle - she just has a band that plays for her) will be releasing her third album around January. Plumb never said she was quiting. People just saw the "best of" album and decided she was through, but that's not even close to right. Then people started making up dirty lies... at least where you live. Plumb didn't get pregnant, and that's just wrong. She did get married recently. But she's still alive and kickin'. Take heart! New album coming next year!
I would direct you to the site - the address is in my sig - but it's under construction. She addressed all these rumors in her online journal.
The "Best of" album was done purely to fill contract obligations. She signed a 3 album deal to Essential but wanted out of her contract. Essential wouldn't let her leave without that third album so they released the best of. Her new album will be out on Curb records, not sure of the release date. I'm curious as to the direction of the music, candycoatedwaterdrops was so different sound-wise than the first CD and I wonder where she'll head next...
