I'd say it's a pretty good listen! "I Boast No More" is an AwEsOmE song!!! I got a free autographed pre-release copy for helping www.grassrootsmusicpromotion.com promote the release of it. "Yes, if you like Caedmon's Call". :p

You can listen to clips of ALL the songs and buy it for $13.99 here:

http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product/61840222?item_no=CD11540&event=SRC

Or...you can buy an autographed copy of the same CD for the same price on this page:

It's good but I don't rank it anywhere near their other CDs. When i first got it I liked it but it quickly left my CD player. It could have something to do with there being a serious lack of Derek's singing and songwriting on their. His songs have always seemed like they are speaking directly to my life and that is the main thing that got me interested in CC. That and I just plain old like his voice better and an album that is 85% Cliff gets a little monotonus to me. So I would say if you are a CC fan check it out, but if you are new to the band or only like a few songs stay away from it because I don't think it's the best representation of their music. For newbies I reccommend either the self titled or 40 Acres. Anyways........

Hey Sheep whereabouts in NC are you? I'm in Fayetteville if you know where that is.....

This CD is great... not my favorite CC project of all time, but definitely my new favorite praise CD. "I Boast No More" and "Oh Lord Your Love" are fantastic, and the hymns Sandra McCracken arranged.

IT IS TOTALLY GREAT!!!!!! personally, i rank it second, after their self titled album, but most of my friends disagree. At first i thought it was just pretty ok, but them i saw them do most of the songs in concett and I fell in love with all the songs. Right now i would ahve to say that THY MERCY is my favorite.

Are you kidding, 40 acres is their worst cd! It is still great, but nothing compared to their self title or long line.

In the company of angels is great. Different, but like their stuff on city on a hill. Great though. Maybe best yet

Lol! Gethedge, I love how you calaim that 40 Acres is the worst yet you have it as your avatar. A little amusing. I also have to wonder how you can't like 40 Acres as much as the other ones. For me, it's a continual tie between 40 Acres and self-titled. And Cody, I too would go insane without my 40 Acres!

As far as buying it (though you probably already either have it or have decided not to buy it), it really depends on what you like. I despise, leaning towards hate recorded worship music. The biggest reason I got it was because of Sandra's hymns. And the fact that I adore Caedmon's Call and I couldn't not get it. But I'm glad I didn't pay for it myself. It's not bad in an of itself. Well produced, well written for the most part, etc. I just don't like the general idea behind it. But I won't get into all that here. Anyway, those are my thoughts

409 acres was the only default cc avatar i saw. I like 40 acres, it just, in my opinion, is not as good as their other stuff. It has a few really good songs on it, but not as many as say, their self title, or even llol, which is about the same level. I am not saying that 40 acres is not good, at all

I would too... :stare:

Dunno how anyone can say 40 Acres isn't as good as LLOL, I've always thought LLOL (while it is an aweseome CD ;)) was not as good as 40 Acres and their self-titled... hm... ah well. They all rock. ;)

Yes, most definitely! I don't like it quite as much as 40 acres (and as far as their self-titled CD goes, I can't say, b/c I don't own it :(), but it's a great album with lots of good praise/hymns on it...
