There are several threads on the Harmony Central effects boards about this topic now.

I think I found the Schematic you were talking about
( http://acapella.harmony-central.com/Forum18/HTML/008216.html ). Is that it?
Is there a reason you want to leave the 1uF cap. in? I'm not sure the mod would be as effective. Try it and see! I know that you can swap around different values of resistors for different tones, but I'm not so sure about capacitors. I may try it when I go home, and I'll let you know what I find out.

for your quest you should put it true bypass.
