Umm... Yay. :|
Aw, c'mon, you're supposed to jump up and down and scream and shout etc.!
Why? Is Five Iron Frenzy also releasing a new album?

I dunno. But what I do know is that we've been waiting for 2 freaking years for this. and i appear to be the only one who cares. dang it.

you're not the only one who cares ;) i suffered through each postponement (first october of last year, then february of this year, then june of this year), and i'm really excited now. it's supposed to be an enhanced cd with 10 new tracks, plus 3 bonus tracks, and over an hour of behind-the-scenes footage. the title of the album is supposed to be 'GO.'
oh, and art, i have news for you: fif disbanded over 2 years ago. just thought i'd let you know...

I know that very well, Bassfreak. I am a huge FIF fan. I was making a joke. Read it again.

They've now got clips on their Myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/newsboysofficial
the new track Go seems really good, a triumphant return to their once great rocker status... very 90's rock actually...
btw the album is entitled Go, it's been Go for a while..

These songs are actually pretty enjoyable. They have piqued my interest; before now I was rather indifferent to the news of a new album.

Now that I think about it, the song Go could fit perfectly in SUTTM, and Wherever We Go sounds alot like something off Thrive or TMTYL. Just a thought.

Maybe, but I don't agree too much. Not that I've listened to these two songs too much, but they seem to be proper progressions in their sound, progressing from Take Me to Your Leader to Step Up to the Microphone to Thrive to the new material (Love Liberty Disco is pretty much, on the surface at least, an anomaly).
Oh, and did they get another new member? I recognize Paul Colman, but I don't recognize the guy all the way to the left, in the reddish-orange stripe, of the album art.

Jeff Frankenstien. :yep: With a new haircut.
I've heard one the rewritten songs because it's a song from a band that belongs to our record label... a very good rendition :)

Yeah, I like that rendition. It's one of the best newsboys songs in my book. Except it says it was written by Pete, Paul, and the producer. Was it I am Free? I heard that song was originally written by Desperation Band.
