I personally think that song is really encouraging. I don't wanna make any judgements about Celine herself, but I really enjoy the song and I think it's uplifting. Any thoughts about it? I don't want this to turn into a debate about Celine, so if you want to go there start another thread about her...this is just about that particular song.

Thoughts? :)

Yeah, it's a good song.

I once saw some documentary on Celine where she was hanging out with some gospel singers backstage and she hopped into a spontaneous "Oh Happy Day" rendition with them.

So I think Celine is familiar with the Christian songs and probably the older hymns too, although I haven't heard her perform them.

Without making a judgment, but just a biographical hunch here - her family is French, so I'll bet like a lot of French people she appreciates and admires Christianity but also falls into secular humanist thinking a lot; thinking that people are on their own and God is not really a part of daily life.

But if I read John 10:10 correctly, then she is the one missing out, if the above is true!

Also, God may use her recent pregnancy to draw her closer to Himself, as I know THAT was an answered prayer for her!

not heard it, but she is a talented vocalist, if a little dull material usually.
