Let me know what you guys think... this is a good friend's favorite band. I've seen them a couple times and they're talented... they're better live, that's for sure... their (new) bassist is amazingliy talented... they're not really my style, but I enjoy them at the same time. I can't really sit and listen to their CD (nor can I to DMB or OAR, as 99% of the ppl out there can), but live, I dig em. K, well, check em out.

Oh yeah, and what the heck?! No one has mentioned the Red hot Chili Peppers yet? They're really really talented. I mean, they're obviously not the greatest Christians or anything, but dang, they've got a lot of talent and a great sound.

RHCP has changed their sound a lot...and they still sound kool...that says a lot...:D
I like their old songs like Higher Ground, Under the Bridge, and Give it away....as well as, Otherside, Scar Tissue, and Californication....:cool:

I have a friend who likes the chili pepps, but when he went to go buy a cd...he bought some real OLD SKhool....it's called Freaky Styley I think...it was back in the days of their skate and thrash music....:D

Otherside, Give It Away, Californication, Scar Tissue, Under the Bridge (one of my faves for sure)... all GREAT songs. The Californication album is definitely awesome... it's GREAT driving music... i'm tellin ya, if you take a road trip with a friend, that CD rocks. Around the World... that's another awesome song... and they say "OHIO" in it, so hey, cool by me. (I'm an OH girl, obviously)

um yeah woodside quinn...sorry but they are beat, i unfortunately saw them at little brothers in columbus waiting to see PMB. what school do you go to?? i go to cedarville U and hit up alot of shows when i'm out there (glad to be home in new york right now)

Hey, when did you see WQ? Like I said, it's not my style, but a lot of people do like them. Their bassist, Mase, is really talented... they picked him up I think last spring, but he really just got to start showing his potential over the summer. I think they're talented, but it's just not my taste in music.
I'm from Lima, OH, but I go to school in South Bend, IN. The guys go to ONU in Ada, which is maybe 30 minutes tops from where I live. One of my friends who goes to BGSU is one of WQ's biggest fans, so I've gone to a couple of shows with her.
I've never seen OAR, but I know who they are and I've heard em a lot. They're HUGE in Ohio and Indiana. They're good, but again, not really my style. But they're good stuff.
