I have to sing in church for our "Graduate Recognition Service" for the graduates at the end of this month and I need a good song that would match the occasion. I've already thought of "Remember Me" by Mark Schultz, but the track is kinda hard to find around here. Anybody else got some suggestions??

There's a song a girl sang at my sister's graduation, i forget who it's by, but it's called "Sieze the Day."

Hi Brent,

We had our Senior recognition banquet last Sunday. One of our Seniors sang "Friends" (might be called "Friends Forever", but I'm not sure) by Michael W. Smith. It's a great graduation song.

I think the song "Seize the Day" is by Carolyn Arends, or at least I know she has a song with the same title.

dude, u have got to sing "one more time" by the katinas! a girl that's graduating this year wanted me to sing it with her but we never got to practice it but its really good and it relates to seniors going away... some of the words are "when all my friends go away, I'll be glad to say, You're still with me"... its a great song, u should check it out.

I needed to sing "remember me" this weekend, and was just going to make my own arrangement of it, but I happened upon Mark Schultz's website, and he has FREE sheet music of that song available for download. I believe the site is http://www.mark-schultz.com It's a simple piano arrangement. I was so excited to find it for free, though, and it saved me some time!

Hey Nolan...thanks for mentioning "One More Time" by The Katinas...I downloaded it to check it out and it sounds sweet. Think I'll see if I can find it tomorrow at the Christian bookstore along with a couple others. I'll try and find "Remember Me" again if they have it. Don't wanna use "Friends" because that song is way overused and I don't care for MWS, but that's just me. I'll check out the others, too. Thanks!

"remember me" is a great one too, i have that cd, but yeah
"friends" is overused alot at gradutations so that's why i suggested the one by the katinas. its really great if u have someone to harmonize with u. hope it works out!

Nolan...I'm assuming that was you (You weren't logged in!). I found a track for the Katinas song. It has background vocals, so I don't hafta worry about finding someone to harmonize with me that way. I still don't know if I'm going to do that one for sure or not, but it's a great prospect right now.
