don't bother looking in the stores for the EP. it is only available at their shows, and on their website. and when The Reckoning is released, they are going to pull all remaining EP's from the shelf, and you can't get them anywhere!

I'm looking forward to it. I wonder of they'll change their sound anymore? They'll probably go more raw.

That's what I was thinking too. That's not something I'm used to hearing from them.

Not at all, everyone seems to be moving in that direction though.

Yeah, it seems so. I heard some new Showbread songs on their Myspace today, and they even sound a tiny bit southern to me.

They dedicated that song "Emophobia" (I think its called) to a friend of mine at a show.

I think it's "Oh Emophobia". That's pretty cool though.

I've got to say, I like really like it. The riff is very southern, though. Not that that's a bad thing, just different.

I just pre-ordered it, with that I got instant audio access to it. So far, I really like it. I'm really liking Rob's vocals.:yep:

Rob screams more, and on the softer songs it seems his voice has matured alot. Noah sounds great, especially the solo in the very last song. Awesome. :D

Hmmm...I listen to tracks 12 & 13 over and over again all the time. Right now I'd have to say that I think track 13, Chasing Shadows at Midnight, is the best song. The lyrics are awesome, to me.

For example:
"Next time I try to cross your mind,
remind me to look both ways
so I don't get hit by your lies"

That, and the guitar solo near the end is good. I listen to the whole CD frequently, and I really like it. I'm proud of my purchase. Once it gets here I'll have the live DVD too! Heck yeah. :D

so now that the CD is actually out.....what did everyone think?

i think the person who really stepped it up on this album was Kalel his bass lines were alot more noticeable in the reckoning and it added a new level to pillar's overall sound

def. a great album!

I love it. This is one of those of those cds that manages to put a whole lot of styles together and still be a cohesive album. Rob is more emotional. Kalel is more noticable. Lester is great and Noah is still awsome. Plus, this cd has some of the best production I've heard in a while.

It's a great CD. I'm really glad I got it. :yep:

I got the special edition with the live DVD, and there are segments from each of the members. Noah's is good, even showing you how to play the solo in Chasing Shadows At Midnight.

Some of you might know who Pillar is. And for those of you that don't I recommed going out and getting their new cd, 'The Reckoning'. That is one powerful cd.
Their are some songs in their that REALLY cover some heavy subjects. Not to meantion the guitar parts are amazing!

Has anyone heard this CD? What did you guys think?
