well yesterday i bought two parts on ebay that we need fot the R/C truck/buggy. we picked up a free pool latter and sliding board for a pool. i di some work of the van again yesterday. i found that one of the spots where i had repaired rust needs to be redone because the paint that i used doesn't want to stick to the metal. the other evening i removed a couple wasp nests that were near the house. we have a couple areas along the side of the house where there is a little bit of grass growing so i am watering those spots to try to get more grass to grow. i still need to get the sprinkler set up in the yard so i might do that today. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well yesterday was really slow. we switched chores and now my main chores are feeding the cats and getting them clean water and cleaning the litterboxes and stuff. our air condisioner frooze up twice yesterday and when it does that we have to turn it off and let all of the ice melt. the thing is we can't tell when it is starting to freeze. if we could tell that ice was starting to from we could turn the air condisioner off before the whole thing freezes. i am hoping that we will be able to start riding our bikes again soon. we haven't done any riding for a little while now. a couple of the trees around our house have a couple leaves that have changed color already. it has been getting a little cooler at night but we also haven't had any rain for something like a week and a half to two weeks and i think that might be part of the reason why some of the leaves are changing. a couple days ago i sold a mini bicycle on ebay. i was hoping to get $50 to $75 for it but it sold for $2.50, but i'm not sure how much i will get from the shipping. i took apart the pool filter and added some more sand yesterday. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well we went bike riding again yesterday whih was fun. it was good to ride around again because we haven't been riding lately. we rode down the trail which was also fun. we still have to ship the mini bike, so i think we are going to do that today. the water in the pool is looking a lot better, it is almost back to how it was before. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well my brother and sister and i went in the pool yesterday which was fun, but the water was kind of on the cool side. i did some work on my road bike too, i removed some rust spots and repainted those areas. my brother and sister and i went for a bike ride which was fun. we rode along the trail again and this time our sister came too. i didn't think she would be able to ride along the whole trail, but she was able to and she did a really good job:yep: when we were done on the trail our sister wanted to go home so we all went home and at home my brother switched bikes and he and i went back to ride on the trail some more. about half way down the trail i was in front of him and i looked back to see where he was and sawthat he had stopped and was looking at the bike. i went back and found that the rear derailer had come off. here the snap ring pin that kept the derailer on the mounting bracket some how came off. we looked on the ground for the pin for a short time then i rode back up to the top of the trail and then home because i have a small box of bike parts and i thought that i had a pin that would work, but when i got home i couldn't find it. my mom and i ended up going to get my brother and the bike with the Caravan which was pretty easy because earlier that day i had mounted the bike rack that we have onto the caravan. the only thing that i didn't like about riding on the trail yesterday was that there were lots of little flys flying around and whenever we stopped they would start flying around our heads and some would fly into us. when we got back home after picking up my brother and the bike i decited to find out how fast the caravan would accelerate and how fast it would slow down in our driveway, it does both pretty good. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well it has been getting a little bit colder lately. we went to the liberary yesterday so that was cool. i drove for a while and then my brother drove. we are going to be going to pickup two cords of firewood that someone is getting rid of. some time today i am going to start the conversion van and turn it around. when we parked it we had pulled it into the driveway and i want back it up in front of the garage so that i can work on the drivers side. well got to go, see ya'll later.

09-14-2007, 06:39 AM
well yesterday was a lot of fun. we made two trips with the van and trailer to pick up some of the firewood. after that we rented a uhaul truck which was a whole lot of fun because we got to ride in something other than a van.we rented the second biggest truck that they had. the only thing is that there was four of us (our dad, myself, and my brother and sister) and the truck only had three seats. i think summer is pretty much over now. we are going to take the log spliter some to be looked at today. the parts for the R/C truck came yesterday. i bought parts for a nitro truck thinking they would fit but they didn't. i was able to modufy the parts and now they work but i'm going to keep a eye out for the right parts. the truck works but it is very underpowered, but i think that is because the battery that we have needs to be replaced. i think we are going to try to build a battery pack because i don't want to have to spend a lot of money on a battery pack if i don't have to. i installed a EZStart system on my Nitro Stampede. i haven't tryed starting the engine yet but i did try cranking the engine and that workswell got to go, see ya'll.

well yesterday was fun. our dad i went down to the valley so our dad could look at boots and then we went to walmart. it was nice becasue we were able to spend some time together. after that we went home and took the log spliter to a place that repairs lawnmowers and garden tractors and stuff like that. when we got home i turned the conversion van around. the van is loud enough without the muffler but now for some reason the engine belt was sqeeling really loud. the brakes didn't seam to work as well as they should. i cleaned some of the rubber hoses and stuff with armorall and i think some armorall might have got on the belt by mistake and that is why the belt was sqeeling the way it was. i also think that the belt might have been slipping on the pulley for the power brake bowster pump and that might be why the brakes didn't work as well as they should. i also noticed that some fiuld that had dripped onto the driveway and also down in the culd-uh-sac. but i was able to turn the van around so now i can work on the other side more easly. well got to go, see ya'll later!

Loud is "relative" as per the rpms of the engine. Wind it up to around 9 k for awhile, it will get pretty loud, esp. towards the end! The it will sputter & get kinda quiet... :D
how old is your son? he hay lose interist in video games and start getting into cars. He's 14; I guess it just seems odd, to me, because I was into cars since I was old enough to walk, but video games are a "pull" on kids these days. They weren't getting real popular until I was in my teen years, so I missed the whole early craze with them. And, I am like you; I can only take so much of them, then I have to get up & walk away, same with sitting at the pc too long...
Productive was a good choice of words. I guess that is what really bothers me, sitting around "wasting" time like that, when there is so much productive things that he could be doing. Don't get me wrong, he's a super kid (homeschooled, btw) & we do a lot together, but for some reason teh vid. game thing just bothers me...

well yesterday was kind of slow. we went to the recycling place and then we went to a couple yardsales. after that we eat lunch and then we tried installing the new (used) pump and filter for the pool. when we went to remove the old pipe fittings from the filter we couldn't get them off and they ended up breaking off, here someone had used glue when they put the filter together. i think i spent around a hour and a half removing the bits of pipe that were glued in place with my dremal tool. i took a break half way though and went for a short bike ride so that i could stretch and stuff. all we have to do now is find our dad's 1 1/2" pipe tap so we can clean out the threads. we aren't going to church today because our dad had a busy night last night. well i guess that's it for now, see ya'll later!

well yesterday we went for a bike ride which was fun. i took the left rear wheel off the van so that i can work on it. while i was working a skunk came out from under our deck and went under our one shed. the thing was that i was near the deck and it was only about 10 feet way from me. it is easyer to work on the wheel with it on a work bentch but it is still hard. as i was riding home i saw one of the guys up the street who was driving a dodge charger R/T. it looks like it is fully restored, it is painted matallic orange and is one of the loudest musale cars that i think i have ever seen. it is a very cool car. we knew that it was going to get down into the upper 30's last night so we covered the flowers and stuff with old sheets to protect them from the frost. i had to stop at one point becasue there was a skunk that was under our deck. after it left i watched it walk off itto the woods but then a short time later another one showed up, so i went back inside until it left. i think i am going to try to make a battery pack for the R/C truck myself. i am going to try using AA batteries and see how that works. well got to go see ya'll later
jump5fan
09-18-2007, 07:13 AM
well yesterday was another one of those slow days. i was able to fix a battery pack that we have and we were able to use the R/C truck for a little bit. we still need to get a new battery pack since this one is a older one and doesn't last very long. we did have some fun with it before the battery would go dead. the truck actualy has more power then i thought it would, one thing that really slows it down though is tall grass. i bought a R/C racing game on ebay yesterday, it is a game were you can race Traxxas cars and trucks so that will be cool. i am hoping that it is a decent game where the handling of the cars is something like what it is in real life, not a arcade game. my brother and i got rid of the old burning baral yesterday and we got rid of a couple piles of ash that were laying around. we used the ash to level out the area where we park the caravan. it is a good thing we checked the area before we put the caravan back because there were some old rusty nails and screws and stuff like that in the ash but i think we got all of that stuff out. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well i did some work on the one van wheel yesterday. i decited that this is going to take a little longer then i thought. i melted between 40 and 50 soda cans yesterday evening. i made a fire with logs and i just put the cans in the fire so now i have a mass of half melted metal, burned wood, and cans that didn't melt. i am going to get my blower out and try to built another furnace. my brother and i went for a bike ride again yesterday which was fun. we couldn't going very far ahead because our sister was using her in-line roller blades, but we all had fun. we still are waiting for the log spliter to finish being repaired. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well i was able to clean out a lot of the mold from the van which was easyer than i thought it would be. there is still mold in the van but i might be able to take care of the rest (or at least most) of it today. i decited around 10:00 pm yesterday to move the caravan. right now we there are tons of acorns falling off of the trees and every once and a while one or two would hit the caravan. we went a park yesterday for a short time which was fun. i saw a guy pull into the parking lot with a restored firebird. i'm not sure what year the firebird was but it was a early model. i don't think i have ever seen a firebird as nice as this one. on the way home from the park we at a store to get some soda and in the parking lot at the store was a chopper motorcycle that looked a lot like something that they would build on American Chopper, it was pretty cool.we got the money for the minibike the other day, so i think we are going to be shipping it sometime today. i found a new favorite TV show, Eureka. well got to go, see ya'll

well we have been busy over the last couple of days. we are splitting all of the firewood which is taking a little while. we are using the log splitter for most of the wood but we are also splitting some of thwe wood by hand. splitting it by hand is kind of hard but it is fun too. the two main types of wood that we are splitting are oak and cherry. the cherry is a lot easyer to split then oak. well got to go, see ya'll later.

i have to be carefull with my mountain bike because it only has front brakes right now. i have to be really carefull while turning and braking at the same time. i can lock up the front wheel on gravel and dirt one time i tryed slowing quickly on pavement and i actuly felt the back tire come into the air a little bit which was a little scary.
I know what that's like. I had an old NEXT bike that the back tire kept eating the bearings, so the tire would wobble and rub the brakes so I took the brakes off. then I ran into the same problem you have. After riding without rear brakes for about a year I got use to it, now I do that for sport. I've gone over the handlebars once (i think) but that's not bad considering how many times my back wheel goes up. Now that I have a new bike I'm working on lifting my back tire up and than shifting it over on to a platform locking up my back brakes and lifting my front tire up onto the platform. Right now the biggest platform that I've successfully done that on is about 1 foot.
the cherry is a lot easyer to split then oak.
That is why I don't split Oak or Maple. (those poor guys at camp)

well we have been busy lately. we split a lot of the wood. we had some pretty big storms come though yesterday evening and it rained last night. it is good that it rained because everything was really dry. the only thing that wasn't dry was our yard. it never really got too dry because of the drainage field. we watched two episodes of eureka last night which was fun, eureka is one of my current favorite shows. i think i found a new sport that i am going to try, BMX biking. i am hopeing that we might be able to get a eghaust system for the conversion van. i think we will have to have it towed to a garage or shop to get a new eghaust system and also to have it inspected. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well yesterday was another one of those slow days. it rained all day so we stayed inside. i think we got between 3 and 4 inches of rain which is good because we haven't had much rain lately. there is a airport in the area and for three days (today is the second day) they are having this thing called The Wings of Freedom Tour. they have three WWII bombers on display, a B-17, B-24, and B-25. if you pay $300 you can go for a ride in one of the bombers which is really cool. we might be going to the airport sometime today to see the aircraft. well got to go, see ya'll.

10-13-2007, 08:04 AM
well we rode up to the airport to see the bombers but it turns out they had left i think about half a hour before we got there, so we didn't get to see them. we also went to homedepot to get some wood to build something to keep some of our bikes in and after dinner my dad and i drove to walmart to get a small TV to replace the TV that our mom uses. i think the heatwave that we were haveing is over because it has gotten colder. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well yesterday we did some more stuff outside. we have a tree house that our dad built severel years ago and we are turning the bottom half into a shed for some of the bikes. the tree house is built on four wood postsand we are putting plywood on the posts. today we are going to make two doors on the front. my brother and sister and i went for a bike ride yesterday evening which was fun but it was also cold. i like riding after it gets dark because it is nice and quite. i put one of our brightest lights on my bike for a headlight. this light is just as bright as (or maybe brighter then) most car headlights. it will light up street signs about half a mile away. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well we went bike riding again yesterday and it was warmer which was nice. i found that i can clean the carpet in the van with ornage cleaner. carpet is made of really small plastic fibers i think so the cleaning spray should work fine (and it does). i repainted my miuntan bike yesterday evening. i had to take the front fork off first so i didn't get any paint on it. i didn't bother removing stuff like the rear wheel, chain, sprockets, or derailers because they already have been painted a couple times. i painted the bike bright red with silver metal flake. the way i did the metal flake was by using a little silver metallic spraypaint and alumanum flakes from the workbench in the garage. well got to go, see ya'll later.

it wasn't too hard. i have been taking things apart for as long as i can remember. i think this is the first time that i have taken apart a bicycle. the thing is i can take things apart without any trouble, but i sometimes have trouble putting things back together. it shouldn't be too hard to put it back together. i am thinking about maybe metallic orange or something, i'm not sure yet.

the idea is to have no leftover parts, Chris....;)
i, on the other hand, tend to try to skip steps when disassembling, which causes me to have to go back and do them over again...or i'll add in my own(my favourite is removing the intake boxes on the cars...Haynes never tells me to, but i do anyway...it seems to give me a lot more room to work with...)

It isn't really bad but we want to fix it sometime soon. all morning yesterday it looked like it was going to rain and it did around noon for a short time. Most of the rest of the day it was really foggy. it rained all night which is good because we need the rain. My brother and I were having probalums with the electric rc truck where if we ran it long enough the motor would start to smoke but we were able to fix it by putting smaller wheels on the truck. We are going to go have the one minivan inspected this afternoon. We finlly were able to get the cover on the swimming pool skimmer the other day which is good. well we got lights for the christmas trees yesterday at walmart. i drove both ways which was fun because the one road has a lot of bends and turns and stuff. we got 1 to 3 inches of snow over night. i think we are going to get some more snow today and maybe some freezing rain. tomorrow they are calling for it to be really windy with wind gusts between 40mph and 50mph. the thing is if there is ice on the trees and it starts getting windy tree branches might break off and hit power lines and stuff, but hopefuly that doesn't happen. when it stops snowing i'm going to go out and clear off the deck with my power shovel thing. well got to go, see ya'll later

well we got around 3 or 4 inches of snowover the last couple of days. our dad took us driving around in the snow. it was interesting and fun. i did a revesese 180 in the cold-ah-sac which was really cool. we went and picked up a pool pump that someone was getting rid of but the house had a kind of steep driveway that was covered with snow. i was able to turn the minivan around and get about half way up the driveway but then the wheels would start spinning, our dad was about to get up the driveway. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well there isn't a whole lot going on right now. we watched a new Mythbusters episode last night. i am thinking about what i want to get everyone in my family for christmas. i tryed to clean the bathtub in the one bathroom and i was able to remove a lot of the dirt and stuff but now there are white streaks, so i guess i'm going to have to clean it again. i pulled the conversion van foword so we could back the trailer to where we keep it (we couldn't do it by hand because there is stuff on it right now). i had to rev the engine a couple times to get the van to move and my brother (who was watching) said that every time i revved the engine it blew out some black exhaust so i am going to have to look into that. the van is so cool because it starts very easly. the fuel in the tank is a couple years old and right now it has a boat battery but it starts right up. i think we are going to start using the wood stove today but i'm not sure. well got to go, see ya'll.

well we got the woodstove up and running. at first our dad forgot to open the baffel (which controls how much heat goes up the chimny) so we ended up having a little bit of smoke in the livingroom but it wasn't too bad. it got really warm in the living room and i ended up putting shorts on . we went to two differant gun shops yesterday which was cool. well got to go, catch ya'll later

we got more snow yesterday! at first it snowed pretty hard (big snowflakes) but then it switched to sleet. we got maybe 4 to 6 inches. they are calling for more snow and sleet tomarow and sunday but i'm not sure how much yet because some NOAA is saying less then a inch while someone on the weather channel said that our area is going to get dumped on. we never gotr the snowblower working so we are going to be shoveling the driveway with shovels. my dad and i had to go to the store and i drove. the roads hadn't been plowed yet and were a mess but it was kind of fun. i was going 25mph to 30mph on roads where the speed limit is 45mph (but people go at 50 or 60. we went to walmart the other day and we were going to take the caravan but the heater didn't want to work for some reasonwell got to go, catch ya'll later!

boy it was warm yesterday! we went down for church and to vist our grandfather for a short time. the temp at one point was 57F. we are going to church again this evening for one of the christmas eve servuses. our church is having 5 seruvues today, 12:00 noon, 5, 7, 9 amd 11pm. pastor jim said yesterday that we are exspeting almost 1,000 people who normaly don't go to church to come for the servues today. we have some cleaning to finish doing to and i still have to wrap a couple things. we got a call from the guy across the street yesterday whille we were eating dinner and he said that he was heard a couple banging sounds coming from a house next to his house. our dad and my brother went over to check. it turns out there was nothing but the house had been broken into i think two times before so our neibor had a reason to be conserened. our mom gave my brother a haircut the other night and she is going to let me continue to keep mine long. i drove most of the day yesterday which was fun even though it was foggy most of the time. we also went to walmart which wasn't all that much fun. i really don't like going into walmart right before christmas. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well yesterday was a interesting day. we did some stuff around the house our dad was about to leave to go to the store when he spotted something by some trees. it turned out to be a deer that was almost dead. when our dad got back he checked the deer again and it was dead so he drug it out into the woods. it was a buck so we saved the antlers the whole thing was sad and our sister was really upset. last night after it got dark i went outside and took some pictures with my new camera, i think i got a couple pictures of mars! i wasn't using a telescope so you can't see very much at all but it is still cool. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well today is the first day of 3008. the other day we went shopping and it was snowing. i drove on the way back home and i had to go slow the whole time because some areas were slippry. i was behind a pickup truck for a little while and he was slipping around a little bit. i was going to stay up till midnight last night but i ended up staying up till 1:30am. yesterday we got around 3 inches of snow so i went outside for a while and took pictures. it was really pretty because the snow was sticking to the trees. we still haven't fixed the snow blower so i shoveled the driveway by hand which was fun. the discovery channel had a all day mythbusters merathon yesterday so we watched some of that. today they have a dirty jobs marathon all day so i am hoping to watch some of that. our sister is going to be doing a dance for us that she has been planning on doing for about a month now. our dad said that later on i can fire off my flintlock for a little while so that will be fun. i am going to record my rifle with my camera and i will post a video at some point. ok got to go, happy new year everyone!

well i tryed shooting my rifle yesterday but it wouldn't go off. the flash powder went off without much trouble but the main charge wouldn't. i tryed around ten times but nothing happened. the gun powder that i was using had been sitting around without a lid for about half a year so the powder is most likely stale. i was hoping that we would be able to go to the shooting range today but i don't think we are going to, partly because it is windy right now. we watched the rose parade yesterday which was neat. we also watched a couple episodes of dirty jobs. well got to go, see ya'll.

well not a whole lot new happening right now. i am really starting to get out of rythum with this thing. i took some pictures outside yesterday and i might try to post them later today. the other day we got some snow and then sleet and then a lot of rain. everything we slushy and wet and then everything froze, so now the driveway is icy and it isn't even smooth. we still have our one christmas tree up so hopfuly we are going to be putting it away soon. we bought the movie Stargate at walmart and it is a great movie. i haven't melted any metal for a while so when it starts warming up i am going to build another furnace and melt some metal. i still have to do a lot of work on my mt bike. our church as a cycling minstory and this year they are going to be riding from church to Creation which is something like 200 miles. i think it would be cool to do that but i don't think i could ride that far right now. i am getting better at typing which is fun. when i joined the forum when i typed something i had to make sure that i hit any key but now i can type much faster. we still haven't installed the new wood stove bec ause we aren't sure if it will fit right now. it will fit but because of the shape of the room the wood stove would be almost in the middle of the room because you need to have i think 18 inches on all sides.i am starting to play my guitar more now but it doesn't sound very good right now, but then again it is a cheaper guitar. i am excited because our dad isn't working this weekend and we are going to be going to church. well got to go, see ya'll!

well the prerace stuff before the daytona was really cool. they had Dale ernharts car that he drove what he won the dayona 500 which was pretty neat. they had some of the really old stock cars and they drove them around the track which was so cool. the whole thing was great! at church we sang a re4ally cool song called On My Lips by Ross Parsley, i think it is one of my favorite songs. yesterday morning was really warm, i think we had 52F. well got to go, see ya'll.

yesrerday was fun. my brother and sister and i had a snowball fight and we did some stuff around the house and we went and picked up two computer disks that someone was gatting rid of. i drove and some of the roads were pretty bad. we have a lot of roads in pa that need to be fixed. i think that one of my favorite roads to drive on so far is the garden state parkway in NJ. the computer that we use for gaming crashed the other day so i am trying to get that working but so far i'm not having much luck. we are getting my brother a SKS rifle for his birthday so hopfuly that should come sometime this week. i was able to setup my iPAQ so that i can watch online videos on it which is pretty cool. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well we went to church yesterday which was cool. i think todday we are going to look into where we can install the second wood stove. we watched the start of the nascar race yesterday. they were only able to race 80 something laps before it started to rain so i guess they are going to try to run the rest of the race this afternoon. well got to go, see ya'll.

SKS semi-automatic rifle. it is pretty cool. other than that not much has been happening. well got to go, catch ya'll later.

we might be going to the shooting range today. i'm not sure if i'm going to take my flintlock or not because last time i tryed firing the rifle it wouldn't fire. we are also in the middle of building the chimny for the woodstove so we are going to be working on that today. we also layed the tiles for the floor where the woodstove is going to go. we had to go to the store two different times yesterday and i drove both times. the first time it was pretty windy which wasn't that much fun, i don't really like driving when it is windy. other than that i like driving, as long as everyone else on the road is being careful and everything it is fun. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well i am really excited right now because nascar is racing at bristol tomorrow!! i love short track racing. we went bike riding yesterday which was a lot of fun. it got up to around 60F yesterday. two pipes for the chimny came the other day so that is cool. i found that you can download software that lets you play playstation games on a computer. there are some games that you can get for ps2 that you can't get for pc so this way we can still play some of those games without haveing to get a playstation system. two games that i would like to get would be Project Gotham Racing 2 and Kingdom Hearts. well got to go, see ya'll later!

post a couiple later on. today is the first day of spring. the other day i
was looking at the conversion van and fould that the obne tire was flat so i
put air in it. i am hoping that we can get the vasn back on the raod soetiome
soon. i am still having trouble with my computer crashing so i have going to
be working on that from time to time. we missed the bristol race but they are
replaying the race this afternoon on speedvision. well got to go, see ya'll!

well we have been busy lately. we finished the wood stove and all of that stuff. we looked at a VW Golf that someone is selling, but i'm not sure if we are going to try to get it or not. we took the caravan for a ride yesterday which was good and we got a new (well used) shotgun. the boat had water in it so i drained that. my brother and i went biking again the other day, i am glad to be riding again. every spring someone comes through the area with a street swepper so i am waiting for that but that might not be for a little while. my brother put a GPS unit on his bike and while going downhill hit 37mph which is really fast for a heavy cruser type bike. well i guess that is it for now, catch ya'll later!

well i thought we were done with the wood stove but i guess we weren't. we had to put a couple heat shield things on the wall bwhind the stove and on the wall along the side of the stove. while we were on the road yesterday we saw a big rig pulling a huge trailer with more then 20 wheels. it was carring some sort of heavy contanor, pretty cool. well got to go, bye!

yesterday was warmer so i was able to do some work on my mountain bike. right now i am stripping all of the old paint off of the frame so i can repaint it. it is taking a lot longer then i thought it would but that's ok. i was able to melt some metal the other day and i was also able to melt some glass which was cool. on saterday we took all of our cats to get their raibes vatanations. we have 9 cats and we had to wait in line for a little more then a hour but we didn't have to pay as much for each vactenation. it would normuly be something like $50 for each one but everyone only had to pay i think $10. tomorrow we are going to be going to get more firewood but the thing is it looks like it is going to rain. we are going to have to rent a
truck again so that will be fun. we are done with the woodstove and we have used it a couple times so far. one of the first times we used it three of our smoke detecters went off. we think it was because some smoke might have been able to back into the house through a vent that is maybe 15 feet from the chimny. i am thinking about signing up with Flickr. well got to go, see ya'll later!

yesterday was fun. it was so warm, at one point it was 65F. we rented the uhaul truck and got the wood. most of the wood needs to be cut and split and is wet and some of it is rotted but it was still fun. we saw a old 1970's dodge van which was really cool. when we got home our dad let me back the truck up the driveway, that was the first time i have ever driven something other then a van, plus it was the first time i have driven something that big (we rented a 17 foot truck). my brother and our dad went to drop off the truck at a nearby uhaul place and i drove over to pick them up with our mom we hit a pretty big storm on the way over and on the way back. i am hoping to sign up with flickr sometime soon. well got to go, see y'all later!

well there isn't much going on right now. i played some airsoft with my brother the other day which was fun, the only thing is that my brother can fire so fast that i can't get into a spot to fire back because i will most
likely get hit. i think we are going to go get the caravan inspeted sometime today. we are going to be selling our boat since we aren't using it and it just makes the place look trashy. it has a older motor and i was thinking that the motor wouldn't be worth much but i looked on ebay and found someone selling a motor just like the one that we have and it has a Buy it Now price of $600 so i guess the motor is worth more then i thought. well i guess that is all for now, see ya'll later!

i am so excited right now because we are going to be getting a metal lathe today!! it is a smaller one but it is still so cool! i'm not sure the exact size but it is made by grizzly industial. the guy that we are going to be
getting it from also as a quadrunner but we aren't getting it because it costs too much. my brother bought two airsoft guns online the opther day and they came yesterday so that is cool. tghe one is a semi-auto and the other one is a full auto and they both are a lot of fun. well got to go, see ya'll later.

yesterday was a lot of fun. we got the lathe but we ended up making two trips , one to get the lathe and one to get the stand for the lathe. the lathe is heavier then i thought it would be. even with me and my dad carrying the lathe it was still pretty heavy. i spent maybe half the afternoon cleaning the lathe and removing some rust. we also got a bunch of tools that go with the lathe. my brother and i played some airsoft yesterday with the new guns which was fun. the new guns don't fire all that fast and it doesn't really hurt when you get hit which i like. i am going to upload a short video that i got of the one airsoft gun yesterday on my myspace page sometime today. i am starting to record stuff with my camera so that i can upload the videos on myspace, it is fun:). well got to go, see

what sort of tooling do you have for your lathe? HSS, or carbide?....wow, if you can lift it, it is small...i'll guess that tooling is HSS, cause a machine that small probably doesn't have the HP to handle carbide...

well yesterday was interesting. my dad and my brother picked up a dvd player/vhs recorder that someone was getting rid of for free. the vcr part doesn't work but the dvd part does. last night that was a racoon on our deck and it was looking right at my mom and i through our front door, it was so cute! i got my theromiter which has a built in laser pointer and fould that racoons will chase laser dots, it was so funny! i was going to record it with my camera but there wasn't enough light. they are calling for it to be really warm today which is nice. i am starting to think about stuff that we need to do outside. my brother and i are thinking about what we are going to do with the track for the RC trucks. i am going to look into the price of grass seed because there are a buntch of areas where i would like to get grass to grow. we aren't going to be opening our pool for a while yet but i'm going to look into how to use the new filter that we got for the pool. the next stargate atlantis episode is on today so we are going t obe watching that. i've been playing my guitar a lot lately which is great. right now i am working on playing the song Canon Rock. it is a hard song but it is fun. well got to go, but i might post some pictures later on today. see ya'll!
