ok well i am going to have to try to make this quick. yesterday our dad and our sister went to the recycling center and on the way home they stopped at a yard sale and found a really nice sectionel sofa. our was starting to sort of fall a part so we bought the one at the yard sale and brought it home. we cut up the old sofa because it would have been too hard to carry it out of the house because it is so big. we also had to remove some shelves from our family room cause this sofa is a little bigger then the other one. we had a little trouble getting it in the house, but we got it in, although we had to take down a door and door frame first. it is a bergendy red color and the one part reclines. last light we watched the movie Night at the musume, it is a very good movie. well got to go get ready for church, see ya'll later.

we went to church yesterday which was cool. the other day my brother and i saw something cool . we saw a car coming down the road way to fast to turn around without srashing. the guy turned to the right a little and then to the left hard and hit the gas, slid the rear of the car around and skidded sideways before stopping. for a moment the car leaned to the side like it wanted to roll, but it did not. it is illegal to do stuff like that on the road but it still was cool. we are going to be getting a new (well, used) guitar soon, we just of to find a time when we can go pick it up. it is a memphis guitar that i think will need some fret work but it will be neat to have another guitar to play. on the way home yesterday we stopped in Jim Thorpe to look at a old abondoned railroad tunnel that they tunded into a kind of walking trail. the tunnel isn't really long or anything, it is only about 200 feet long and when we were standing in the middle of the tunnel we could see both ends about 100 feet away, very cool. we also got out and looked at a old abondoned railroad turntable, which was really cool. i took a bunch of pictures and i will post some of those sometime soon. we stopped at Walmart and saw a chopper just like the ones that they build on American Chopper, that was so cool! well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

well yesterday was fun. we went to youth group which was good because we haven't gone for a while. the videocard that i bought on ebay came yesterday, it is pretty cool. it has a metal heatsink with cooling fan and it has a S-video jack so that you can connect a TV to the computer. the next thing that i think we need to get for the computer is memory. i have to look into what kind of computer memory we should get because there are a lot of different kinds. i did a little work on the van yesterday, i removed some of the paint that i had used to temperaly repair some of the rust. i sanded the paint off and then i covered the serounding area with paper and covered the metal with primer. a couple areas that i repaired before now look like they have some rust again so at some time i am going to have to go back and fix those areas too. i also want to try to repair the wheels because they have a lot of oxadateion in some areas. i tried using spraypaint on part of the one wheel (i used silver paint) but it doesn't look very good but i am going to have to remove the paint anyway so i can refinish the wheel. i am going to sand the wheels down til there isn't any more pitiing and stuff. after that i will use finer and finer sandpaper and then i will use my Dremel tool or something to buff the wheels. i am going to see if there is something that you can buy that will act as a clearcoat or something. i was thinking about trying to repaint the van so that it looks like one of the shuttlepods from Star Trek Enterprise but i think i will just leave it the way it is. i think we are going to open our pool sometime soon, we have to remove the cover and then we have the get the water filtering, althogh we will not be able to go in the pool for a while because it is not warm enouigh yet. we are going to have ot cut our grass soon. well got to go, see ya'll.

well we did a lot of stuff yesterday. our dad and i worked on a antenna that we are going to put up. we also bolted together the tower that has been sitting on the deck for a few days. i moved a couple large flower pots onto the deck and i did some work on the van. we also took the cover off of the pool. the water is almost perficly clear, the only thing that we have top do is put some more water in the pool. i should have put sunscreen on since i was outside in the sun alot yesterday, i think i got kind of sunburned but not a whole lot. well got to go, see ya'll.

well not much going on right now. yesterday our dad talked to the doc that he knows at the hosptle and got some stuff for my face. i have a couple sores that look really bad and the stuff that our dad picked up should help those spots heal faster.we did some more work around the house yesterday and we got some more stuff done. i tried putting the new video card in the computer and it fits. we have a bag of computer memory around here somewhere so i am going to try to find that sometime today. well got to go, see ya'll.

well yesterday was interesting. we did some work around the house and watched a little bit of the kenntuky derby. i was going to watch the whole derby but i didn't know that there was going to be more than one race, i thought that there was just one race. we did some more cleaning up around the house and then we had dinner. we watched the stuff before the race then our dad got home from work. someone was getting rid of a pool net for free so we went to pick it up. we were using the laptop and the GPS to try to find the place but it took a long time because some of the street names didn't match the names of the streets on the GPS map. we drove along a couple back roads which were really bumpy, they were like half dirt road and half really badly paved road. one road that we took had a big pile of stone in the middle of the road so we had to turn around we ended up taking a different road and then another dirt road but in the end we found the place and picked up the net. while we were driving along the one dirt road we hit a large bump kind of hard and then the bottom of the hitch recever hit the ground. while we were driving along another road we saw a deer cross the road a little ways in front of us but we only saw one deer so we didn't slow down much. we drove for a few seconds then suddenly there was a loud thud for the van hitting a deer that we didn't see. we stopped and our dad got our and checked the van and the deer. he didn't see any damage on the van and the deer was trying to get up so we think it is ok. when we got home our dad checked the van again but this time found that the front right fender had a large dent right by the door and we can only open the rood about half way. on the way home i started to get carsick which was now fun. at one point i started feeling even more carsick so we opened the windows and that helped. when we got home i went right to bed. we always say prayers and read two duvosionles and and read some from the Bible before we go to bed and i hate it when i have to skip that because i think it is a very inportened thing to do, but i wasn't feeling good so i just went right to bed.
they were going to race yesterday at Richmond (which is a night race) but they ended up stopping the race i think 10 laps into the race because of rain, up til that point they had kept the cars out on the track under yellow so that the headers on the cars would help keep the track dry, but it started to rain a little bit so they red flagged the race. they are going to be racing today at 1PM. they are racing the new cars so that shound be cool. the COT cars don't seem to have as much grip in the front as the other cars so they probuly going to use the brakes a lot more, it should be interesting. well got to go, see ya'll

I got carsick after we hit a deer (wich was bad because we were coming back from Red Lobster)
one thing that lightbar doesn't have however is intersection lights
One thing I just realized is the strobe tubes are at 45' angles so there is no need for intersection lights. Some of them however have flashing alley lights that improve the side view.

yesterday was interesting. we did some work around the house. someone on the freecycle list was getting rid of a big piece of furniter but i guess someone else got it because we haven't heard anything. i was excited because we would have had to rent a truck to move it, but since we aren't getting it we won't have to rent a truck. we helped our dad put up the scaffolding that we have, i'l post some pictures later on today if i can. i think they are starting to do some kind of constertion work along the side of the road that we live on. all morning and most of the afternoon yesterday we were hearing trucks and eqitment at the far end of the street. i am hoping that they will be doing so work at our end of the street because i love watching that sort of stuff. they aren't working on the road, they are digging a tranch along the side of the road and they are going to be burying a cable, or at least i think that is what they are doing.our grass is starting to get kind of tall so we are going to have to cut it pretty soon. we also watched four more episodes of Star Trek Enterprise last night, so that is cool. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

well not much happened yesterday. i we had a storm coming our way so i was checking the radar a lot through our the afternoon. i took some pictures with my kodak camera for a little while. the other day a guy with a verision van stopped along our street and spraypainted lines going across the road and running along the side of the road. i think they are going to make the drain ditch along the road so that the next time it rains really hard the rain water stays in the stream and doesn't flood the road. it doesn't really flood the whole road but sometimes it rains hard enough that there will be between 1 and 3 inches of water covering half of the road. yesterday it got up into the 80's again. the air condisioner didn't seam to be working as well as to should so we took the cover off of the A-coil in the garage and found that it was covered with ice. it took a littlew while to melt the ice and we ended up getting a little bit of water everywhere. we turned the heater and that really helped to melt the ice. the only thing is that it ended up getting king of warm inside the house, but the air condisioner is working now so that is good. we are going to need to cut the grass soon because it is starting to get really tall in some spots. we found out that the memory for the computer was shipped yesterday and it is coming by pririty mail so it should get here in 2 or 3 or 4 days. i think it is really cool that they can ship something that fast, they can ship stuff across the country in only a couple days. we are going to try to finish cleaning the house over the next couple of days so that we can get the house aperased. well that's it for now see ys'll a little later.

well i'm going to have to make this kind of short because we are going to church in about a hour. we picked up the CD changer ysterday but it isn't working rightfor some reason, so we are going to have to look at it. the computer memory came yesterday and i installed it in the computer but it still doesn't want to turn on so i am goingto have to look at that too. we got ta lot of stuff done around the house yesterday which is good. they were going to race last light at Darington but i guess the race got rained out, i'm not sure if they are going to race today or not. everything around here is getting really green. the trees are getting their leaves and the grass is getting tall as well. we are going to have to cut the grass pretty soon. we are going to pick up sand for the pool filter today after church. i am excited becaus ewe are going to church, i love going to church. the weather is driving me nuts because jalmost every time that there is a storm or something on the radar it disaperes or changes durestion or something before it hits us, and i want to try recording some lightning with my video camera. there is one thing about this time of year that can be sort of a pain and that is pollin from the trees and stuff. it shows up very nicely on cars and trucks and stuff. one thing that i have noticed is that my alergeis haven't really been acting up or anything which is a good thing. well got to go, i need to getting ready for church, see ya'll a little later.

we went to church yesterday which is good. we stopped at our grandfather's place for a little bit. my PM3 player was acting up yesterday for some reason. somehow all of the songs were deleted and i only noticed after we had left home for church. i think i fixed it but i have to put all of the music back on it. we stopped and picked up filter sand on our way home for church. when we got home i mowed the yard because it was starting to get tall in some areas. all of the water that comes from the washing machine goes under the house and then it is pumped out side. the water ends up flowing into a lower area of our yard, and this happens a couple times a day. it is the grass in that area that was getting the tallest. the last four episodes of Star Trek Enterprise season three are on tonight, so we will be watching that tonight. our dad got three hibiscus plants at homedepot. i love hibiscus, i will post some pictures sometime. well got to go, see ya'll later.

we had a doctors apionmint yesterday in bryn mar ( or however it is spelled) which is right outside of phily. we also went to youth group last night which is good. on our way down to bryn mar we were behind a car and the driver suddenly hit the brakes and vered to the right and suddenly a deer ran across the road. the deer run into the side of the guy in front of us but the driver had moved far enough to the right that the deer just sort of bounced off of the SUV. the deer didn't seam like it could move it's back legs but i don't think it was achly run over, it was able to sort of drag it'sself off into the woods and on our way home we didn't see it so i guess it was ok. i thought it would be really hot in bryn mar but it wasn't really ball that bad. when we left the doctor it had warmed up. we saw a Aston Martin which was really cool. on the way home the weather was nice but when we got closer to home ithe sky started to look like it was going to rain and a little bit later it did rain, pretty hard too. whenever we drive on the turnpike we go through the Lehigh Tunnel, and this time when we went through the tunnel it was just started to rain and when we came out the other end it was a downpour. when we truned onto our street there was a backhoe and dumptruck working on the water drainage ditch along the road, i was kind of hoping that we would be home when they started working on the drainage ditch, oh well. in total i think i sat in the minivan between 5 and 6 hours. our youth pastor said that they are going to be moving youth group from Wedensday evening to Sunday evening. our dad said that we might not be able to keep going to youth group becasue of how high the gas prices are right now. plus on Sundays we normuly get home sometime in the afternoon and if we were to start going to youth group on Sunday we would have to leave to head back down after only being home for a hour two two and that is a little too much running around for one day. i am hopeing that i will be able to maybe get my driver's license sometime soon. that way i could drive myself and my brother down for youth group. i think the gas tank for my R/C truck might come today. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well yesterday i took a ride down the street to see what they did with the road. they put a new drain pipe under the road. they didn't do anything with the part of the road right in front of our house but i'm thinking that they might not have to because the pipe under our end of the street isn't damaged (the pipe that they replaced was dented) but then again why did they spray piant lines across our end of the street. i was outside most of the day yesterday helping our mom plant flowers which was fun. we still have flowers to plant but we need to buy more potting soil first. it was in the upper 70's yesterday and it was hot in the sun. i got kind of sunburned but it isn't too bad. i am kind of sad right now because yesterday i found out that Jump5 is going to be calling it quits at the end of ther year. i looked saturn again last night, it is so cool because you can actully see saturn's rings withour any trouble. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

well we got a lot of stuff done around the house yesterday. i'm almost done with cleaning my room. i looked at saturn again yesterday evening with the telescope, i also looked at venus but it is so bright that you can't really see anything. we helped our mom finish planting the flowers. they still haven't done any road work on our end of the street. the other day we picked up a hoover vacume cleaner that someone was getting rid of. it don't vacume carpet, only hardwood and tile floors. it not only vacumes but it also washes the floor as well. it has a containor for cleaning stuff (i tryed it with water) and it has small scrub brushes and it seems like it works very well. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

it was really hot in the sun yesterday. i think the temp got up to 90F. my brother and sister went in the pool for a little bit which was cool.it was really hot in the sun. i backed the caravan part way down the drive way and parked it off to the side of the drive so that it hopfuly won't be sitting in the sun as much. the whole thing is covered with pollen, actauly just about everything is covered with pollen. last night before we went to bed we watched most of the Star Trek movie Wrath of Ken. i looked at the moon again yesterday evening and was going to look at saturn and jupiter but by the time it was dark enough to see them it started getting cloudy. we really need to cut the grass, but we still have a lot of stuff to do inside first. on Wedensday a streetsweeper came through and did the road and cul-da-sac, the streetsweeper made a lot of dust too :). they still haven't done any roadwork on our end of the street, but i think they might do something after the weekend. right now it is windy and it is blowing stuff off of the trees and it is a mess. you can actully see stuff (pollen and stuff) blowing around with the wind. about a week ago we had a lot of yellow dandalions in our yard and now they have gone into seed, so now we have lots white dandalions and every once and a while a dandalion seed goes floating by. i still have to get a exhaust pipe for my R/C truck. well got to go, see ya'll later on.

we went to church yesterday which was cool. we also went to staples and walmart. i saw and heard the coolest hot rod yesterday. it looked like a 40's or 50's mercrey with a big hood scoop and it must have been supercharged because as it drove by i heard a supercharger whining sound. i got pretty excited because that was the first time that i have heard that sound. on the way home we pasted a carshow but we weren't able to stop. it just rained a little bit about a hour ago a it looks like everything is dry already. at church our pastor was wearing a hat in church because one of the guys who goes to our church has cancer and i guess lost his hair and is wearing a hat and so that he wouldn't feel enbaresst our pastor said that next week everyone should wear a hat, he also said that he thinks that Jesus is cool with that:). Star Trek Enterprise is on tonight so i am hoping to watch that. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

I think that was a cool idea of your pastor's. Most people take their hats off to pray to show respect, but it's only symbolic. A really strong Christian could wear a hat while praying, while a poser who just goes through the motions of church might take their hat off while supposedly praying. I don't think it really matters.
My Aunt has a '79 thunderbird that she said I could have when I turn 16, if we can get it fixed up. I'm not super excited about it being a ford, though. My dream car is a Charger. What's yours?

I like Thunderbirds, our grandfather was restoring a '55 Thunderbird when he died. I am also a huge fan of muscle cars and I'm not sure if I could pick just one as my favorite. some muscle cars that i like are the Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Dart, Chevy Camaro, Chevy Corvette, Ford Mustang, Plymouth Roadrunner, Plymouth Barracuda, Pontiac Trans Am, and Pontiac Firebird. right now I think my dream car would be a '74 MG Midget convertable. do you like the older Chargers or the newer Chargers?

well i woke up late today which i hate. it was really warm yesterday, it got up to 89F here. we can't go in the pool right now because the chlorine level is high. we want to keep it high for a few days to kill the alge that is in the water. all afternoon it looked like it was going to rain but it didn't. there was one storm that formed close to us but it never hit us, we just got a few rain drops, it thundered a whole lot though. we did end up having a storm hit us when we were getting ready for bed. i think we got about a half inch of rain overnight. one thing that i like to take pictures of are storms, but so far this year we haven't had very many storms. i am hoping to be able to get a few pictures of lightning, that would be cool. i don't think that i could get a picture of a lightning bolt with the camera because the camera can't take pictures fast enough. the camera will record video at i think 15 frames per second, so i will try using that to record the lightning and then play the video back on my computer and then get a screenshot. i am starting to run out of room on my computer again, so i am going to have to copy some stuff to DVD. i checked and VBS isn't next week, it is next month. our dad picked up another all-in-one copier/printer/scanner thing yesterday so i'm going to play around with that and see if it works. as long as it as a USB cable it shouldn't be too hard to get it to work since USB is mostly plug and play. i am really starting to think about getting a digital SLR camera sometime soon. the only thing is that they are exspensive. when we went to youth group last time our youth pastor showed me his digital SLR camera. they are pretty cool. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

well yesterday was cool. i vacumed the pool and then we did some work in the house for a little while. it stormed yesterday which is good because we need the rain, everything was really dry. after the storm was over we went in the pool for a little while and then me, my sister, and our dad went to homedepot to get glue. yesterday evening we put wood floor tiles down in the hallway between the front prat of the house and the back. we have a lot of stuff to finish cleaning up before the apraser comes tomarow. the walls in my room had a lot of small holes from thumbtacks and posters and stuff so i fixed some of those, but i still have some areas that have a lot of holes that i still need to fix. on our way to homedapot yesterday we saw a old vw beetle, i love those cars. we finlely got the internet back yesterday around noon, it had been down since around noon the day before. there was a storm that hit strudsburg (or however that is spelled) and i guess that was part of the reason that the internet went down. they are racing at dover today but i'm not sure if they are racing the COT cars or the reaglar cars. next week they are racing at Pocono!!!!! the only thing is that we won't be able to go to the race. sometime i really want to go to one of the races at Pocono. well got to go, see ya'll.

well yesterday was cool, achely it was hot and muggy. his year will be our pastor's 20th year pastoring at our church. after church we stopped at our grandfather's place for a little bit. i was listening to the pre-race some at the Pocono Raceway on the radio on the way home. i was hoping that we would be able to get home before the start of the race but we had to stop at walmart first. i was kind of disapionted because i thought we would miss thestart of the race but it turns out it there was a shower and it had rained on the track. when the pocono raceway gets wet it takes a hour or two to dry. they ended up starting the race about half a hour after we got home. we watched the pre-race stuff and then when they started the car's engines my brother and i went outside and we could hear the cars off in the distince! we watched a couple laps and then went outside to help our dad with the tower. as we were working outside we could hear the cars everytime they went around the track. they ended up stopping the race just past the half way point because of rain and because it was going to start getting dark before the would be able to finish the race. Jeff Gordon won!. on the way down to church we saw a lot of traffic, mostly poeple going to the race. i really want to get into stock car racing, i'm guessing ether late model racing or modafided racing. we helped our dad work on the tower. we got to tower up and bolted to the house. we still have to pour the conceriet base, i think we will be doing that today. a friend of our dad has a pole with a pulluy on it that he said that we can barrow so we can put the top section on the tower. i will post pictures of the tower soon. my brother and sister and me went for a short bike ride but it started to drizzle a little bit so our sister went back home. my brother and i rode around for a little bit but then it started to thunder so we went home. i think that was the first time that i have have gone for a bike ride while it was drizzleing, it was fun. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

well we had a very exciting day yesterday. we went to the local driver's center but we were not doing drivers permits yesterday so we headed to one of the places in allentown. while we were on the one highway we saw a couple cars and a big rig that had pulled over and there was a car that was in a ditch. it turns out that we were one of the first ones on scene and the first one on scene with a lightbar. it was kind of cool because we were in the left lane and everyone had slowed down and we had to cross a whole lane of traffic so our dad turned on the lightbar and everyone stopped for us to get over to the shoulder. the stopped traffic both ways on the highway. they ended up flying Pennstar and once they got there they circled overhead a few times and then they landed right on the highway. once they had the woman in the ambulance and getting her ready to be flown our dad said that we could get out and watch Pennstar take off. after Pennstar took off we also left but it was really cool because they hadn't opened the highway yet so we were one of the only ones on the highway along with a firetruck and a command truck for a mile or two:yep: after that we went to the driver's license center. we ended up getting there just a few miunets before they closed. i passed the writen test (which was done on a computer) without any trouble. i did have a little bit of trouble with the vishion test, but other then that everything was a lot easier then i thought. after that we went to BJ's to get new tires and they said that it would take around a hour so while we were waiting we went across the street to arbys. after that we walked around BJ's for a little bit and then they were done with the van. after that we went and got fuel and after that we went bowling. we bowled four games, we had a lot of fun. my highest score was 125. i thought that i would get a higher score but we have not gone bowling for a little while. i think we are going to try to go out bowling more often. well got to go, see ya'll a little later.

well yesterday was a fun day. we went to church and then we went to our grandfather's place for a little bit. on the way home we stopped at a couple yard sales. the one yard sale had a sign that said that everything was free. we got a couple sprinklers, some windshield wipers, a box of random things and a Toro electric power shovel. when we got home we got the trailer and went to pick up the log splite it is a mid-size gas powered log spliter. i spent maybe a hour working on cleaning it because it was dirty. i thought it would be hard to clean it but it was pretty easy actully because i used engine degreaser. we haven't tried starting it yet so we still have to do that. the guy who we got it from said that the carberator needs to be fixed or taken apart and cleaned or something, i don't remember. after dinner we went for a bike ride again. we rode on a couple streets that we haven't been on before, so that was fun. normuly in the evening it starts to get cooler but yesterday evening it stayed warm and muggy. i still have to cut the grass so i am hopibng to do that today before it gets too hot. they are calling for it to get up to 85F today which means it is going to be pretty warm. hopfuly we will be able to go in the pool if the water is warm enough. star trek enterprise is on tonight so i'm looking foword to watching that. next week will be the last episodes of star trek enterprise which is kind of disapointing, but hopfuly they will rerun the series. well got to go, but if i'm not to busy i will try to post some pictures a little later, see ya'll.

well not a whole lot happened yesterday. we did go in the pool for a hour or twowe watched star trek yesterday. they were interesting episodes. it looks like they are calling for rain and thunderstorms late this afternoon which is good because we need the rain. i played around with the sprinklers that we got the other day. i found out how change the settings and everything. i still have to try to start the log spliter. i haven't tried it yet because our mom wants me to wait until our dad is home. we didn't go for a bike ride yesterday because our dad didn't get home until after dark. some of our bikes have some stuff that needs to be tuned and stuff and i have a book about 10-speed bikes so i might read some of that sometime. well got to go, see ya'll.

well not much happening right now. we went in the pool again yesterday and the water was 71F which is warm. i like being outside, aspeshly when it is really warm. i have to be careful though because i can get sunburned kind of easily (i am trying to get slightly tanned though). we had a pretty big storm yesterday evening, it rained pretty hard and there was a lot of lightning. i was able to record a couple lightning bolts with my video camera. we lost power for a few seconds as well. yesterday i set up one of the sprinklers that we got the other day in your yard so now when there are a couple days were it doesn't rain we can water the yard. i'm just not sure about how long to have the sprinkler turned on for, i want to keep it turned on long enough for it to water the yard but not too long because that would just waste water. i moved the caravan up and down the driveway a couple times yesterday too, that way the battery doesn't go dead and this started right up which is good. i thought that since the one rear door of the conversion van had been open over night that the battery was dead (i checked the headlights and they didn't work). i was going to try charging the battery but when i opened the hood i found that ihad disconnected the battery. i just reconnected it and the battery is fine, i love easy fixes :). there is going to be a car show near us on sunday so hopfully we will be able to go to that, i love going to car shows. there also is a hamfest coming up soon and i'm really looking foword to that. well got to go, but i will post some pictures sometime today, see ya'll.

well yesterday was fun we went in the pool again and the water got up to 72F. after that i did some work on a couple of the bikes that we have, i also found that my mountain bike has a flat rear tire so i have to fix that . we also went for a bike ride yesterday everning. i don't know how far we rode but we rode pretty far. we have a GPS reciver that i am going to mount on my bike so i can tell how far we go. while my brother and i were on way home we started to go down one road but decited not to go down the road because there were three police cars stopping along the street in front of one of the houses. when we got home we had to help look for our one cat who got outside and we found him. about half a hour ago i just caught him starting to open our front door. we also watched a new Mythbusters episode last night, it was all about snow myths. today is the first day of summer. well got to go, see ya'll.

well yesterday was cool. we did some cleaning around the house. it stormed really hard for a little while in the afternoon. after it stopped our dad got a new spark plug for the log spliter and after a short time i was able to get it running. it is really loud but it works. it doesn't retracted very fast so we are thinking the it might be low on hydralic oil. my brother and i went for a bike ride after that and we rode around for a while and when we got to the top of the one hill near where we live we saw the most inpresive clouds. shortly after that our dad called us (we carry radios) and told us that we had to come home reght awaybecause there was a bad storm coming. we got home just as it was starting to rain. it rained really hard too. after it stopped my brother and i went back out and rode around for a while. right after we left we saw a truck go by with a lightbar that was turned on. we saw between 10 and 15 deer while we were riding. when we got to the top of the hill again we rode around for a while. we saw a storm way off in the distinse, the whole cloud was lighting up and when it did it was orenge and so was the lightning. as we were coming down the one road toword our house we saw a lot of flashing lights at the one intersection, here i guess there was a bad crash on one of the roads and they had the road closed. we had notised that there had been a lot more traffic on the roads that we were riding on and there nourmly isn't much traffic on the roads that we ride on. i didn't take a camera with me because i didn't have any way to carry the camera with me, i want to start bringing the camera with me because i like taking pictures. well got to go, see ya'll later.

wow! i just notested that this month is the one year anaversidy of my journal!:drink: well yesterday was fun. our dad and i went to the recycling place because we had a lot of recycling stuff that was taking up space and that we needed to get rid of. after that we stopped by the one ambulance station because my dad wanted to pick up something that he left there. i washed the conversion van which was good because it was dirty, i still have to repaint some spots of the body because there are a couple of spots that just have primer right now and there are a bunch of spots were i had used copper paint. i had used copper paint so that it would be easy to remove leter. if i had used white paint it would have been harder to tell that paint apart from the rest of the white paint. yesterday my brother and i went bike riding again. this time we went down a trail near where we live. in some spots there are a lot of small rocks, in a bunch of areas it is sandy, and in some other areas the trail is small gravel. there are a lot of tree rots that stick up out of the ground about a inch and go across the trail and they sort of act as speed bumps. i like riding through the sandy areas a lot and i also like going slowly through the areas with the rocks, it was a lot of fun. a one point while we were riding two guys on quad-runners drove by us on the trail, those quad-runners are really cool, the only thing is that they are loud and you aren't suppost to ride them on the trail that we were on. the first half of the trail is downhill but the rest is mostly level. the funny thing is that it isn't really hard to pedel a bike up hill on the trail, it is a lot harder to ride up a road that has the same grade. after we rode up and down the trail a couple times we went back home so that my brother could get his road bike and because he thought the one tire on the bike that he was riding was going low. we rode around for maybe another hour and a half or so then we went back home. we watched Men in Black 2 last night, it is a really funny movie. i am really excited because tomarow after church we are going to be going to the Westend car show! i am really excited! :D . well got to go, see ya'll later.

well yesterday we went to church and then we went home to drop off our sister because she didn't want to goto the car show. there were a lot of really cool cars at the car show, it was a lot of fun. we saw a 1955 Ford Thunderbird which was really cool because our grandfather was restoring one when he died. there was a Shelby Cobra at the carshow too. there was also a very old race car, the kind that has wood wheels and stuff. there was also a band there and they were playing 50's style rock and roll which was really neat. we stopped at a couple yard sales on the way home and our dad bought a small ocillascope and i bought a pair of foglights for the conversion van and after we got home form the car show i put the foglights on the van, but i still have to do the wiring. the last two episodes of star trek enterprise are on tonight and i'm kind of disapionted about that, but hopfully they will rerun the series. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well not much happened yesterday. it rained for a little while. in the afternoon i vacumed the pool and it took a while because it was really dirty. i saw a doe and two fawns which was really neat, the fawns are so cute! the last two episodes of star trek enterprise were on last night, and so were the first two episodes of star trek enterprise which means they are rerunning it. we are going to be going to church this evening because they are having a meeting for all of the people who will be helping with VBS. i'm excited about VBS but at the same time i'm also nervus for some reason. i'm not really sure why i'm nervus but i wish i wasn't. maybe it's because i'm kind of shy sometimes. our church has been doing VBS for a couple years now and last year i think we had around 400 kids who came to VBS. this year our church is going to be having VBS in the morning and in the evening. my brother and i will be helping out and i think our dad will be too. we are only going to be helping out in the morning, we won't be able to help with the stuff in the evening because it would just be too much driving around and stuff. i still haven't done any driving yet but after we watch this dvd that we got i am hoping to start doing some driving with our dad. well got to go, see ya'll later.

2. the only thing on this bike that you can still read is the name of the company that made the bike, Sears.
3. a Ross Eurotour bike, our dad says that this is a really good bike. it is cool because you can shift gears even if you aren't pedtling and i have never seen a bike that works that way.
4. a older Sears bike, the rear tire is a newer tire that the preveuse owner put on.

well yesterday we cleaned up a few things outside. i wasn't feeling all that good for most of the day which wasn't much fun, i don't like being sick. we watched the begining and finish of the nascar race yesterday, they race at the New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon New Hampshire. every time i see the name Loudon i think it is the name London. i really want to get into racing but i don't have a car that i could use or anything. we switched chores yesterday, now i'm taking care of the kitchen, my brother is taking care of the cat's food and water and my sister is taking care of the clothing. we went for a short bike ride yesterday again, right now i'm not trying to go really fast or anything because i'm sick. Star Trek Enterprise is on tonight so that's cool. we need to vacume the swimming pool soon so i might do that today. i also want to mow the grass today or maybe tomarrow. we still have to find some way to get the new bikes to fit in the trailer. we are going to have to go through and clean up inside the trailer because right now a lot of stuff is sort of throwen on a pile. there are a bunch of empty boxes that can be stacked on top of each other and the welders need to be moved so they are lined up along the well and not sitting in the middle of the trailer, and other stuff like that. i am starting to play the guitar again, i haven't been doing much playing because of doing stuff around the house. i still need to get a exhuast system for my R/C truck, but i don't have a lot of money right now. i am thinking about selling a few things on ebay. a couple things that i want to get sometime soom are a pair of heelys skate shoes, a digital SLR camera, the exhuast system for my truck, handlebar tape for my road bike., and some other stuff. i am thinking about sometime trying to buy a new road bike, one that i can upgrade with better parts. i don't want to get a bike like the ones that they sell at walmart, i want to get a more exspensive bike. well got to go, see ya'll!

well today is the 4th of July! the only thing is that it looking like it might rain today. what would be good would be if it would rain this morning and in the afternoon but stop aroune 4:00pm or 5:00pm. that way everyone could still set off fireworks and stuff but everything would be wet and there would be less of a chance of fires starting. i am hoping to be able to fire off my flintlock sometime today and we found a way to make fairly safe rockets using paper matches, tin foil, and a pin. i guess they can fly anywhere from 5 feet to 20 feet. later (if it doesn't rain) i want to go up the street and watch our nueghbers set off fireworks, but i also want to watch the Boston Pops on TV. if i am able to fire off my flintlock rifle i will try to get some pictures and i will post them. well got to go, see ya'll later, happy 4th of July!

well yesterday really was cool.our dad slept in for a little while so my brother and i looked at bike parts on ebay. after that i vacumed some of the pool but i never really finished so i need to finish that sometime. when our dad got up he , my sister and i took our recycling to a place where you can sort it in to differnet bins. when we got hame my brother and i tried the paper match rocket thing but most of the ones that we make didn't work. a couple did work but all they did was corkscrew into the ground, but they did go about 3 feet. after that it rained for a short time and after it had stopped my brother and i went for a bike ride until dinner was ready. after dinner we rode around some more. the one house up the street had between 7 and 12 cars parked along the road. we rode around for a while and a couple times it started to rain, but it was light rain. there were a bunch of homes were people were setting off fireworks and firecrackers and stuff. it was already kind of foggy but it was cool because were people were setting stuff off there was a lot of blueish white smoke. my brother and i were hoping that our neighbers up the street would be setting off fireworks but i think they were at the house with all of the cars parked along the road. our mom called us and said that we needed to come home so my brother headed home but waited a short time before i started heading home. as i was turning around it suddely started to rain really hard. i was a little less than a mile from home but i couldn't race home or anything because of the rain. because the brakes on my bike were wet every time i applied the brakes it took a second for them to start to work, so i couldn't go fast for that reason and plus when the road is wet i have to becareful that i don't lock up the rear wheel becasue once the brakes do apply they get a lot of grip. it was raining hard enough that i couldn't really see anymore then half a mile i think. by the time i got home i was pretty much soaked, so i put i my bike away in the trailer and went and got changed. after it stopped raining our dad got the powder for rifle out because we keep it locked up. my brother and sister and i fired off my rifle for a short time, it was soooo much fun! :). i fired off the first shot and i only used maybe half as much gun powder as i would use if i had been shotting it at the range, but it was still really loud! after that we used much less gunpowder. my sister had a lot of fun firing the rifle, i will post pictures as soon as i can. now i have to clean my rifle and i'm guessing that it is going to be really dirty. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well not much going on right now. i vacumed the pool again yesterday but there is some algie that i am having trouble getting up. it rained a little bit yesterday. we have a lot of work to do today so i won't be on here a whole lot but i will try to get on every once and a while. i am excited because VBS is coming up soon! please pray for me because while i'm excited about VBS i'm also nervus. yesterday a road work crew did some work in the culd-ah-sac (or how ever it is spelled). there was a where the pavement wasn't flat, there was a bump and a dip next to it and the road crew just covered the whole area with tar-and-chip. i don't really like tar-and-chip because it isn't really smooth and it doesn't look as profeshional as blacktop but hey they fixed it so that is cool. when they do tar and chip what they do is clean the road where they are going to be working, then they spray tar down. after that they put gravel on top of the tar and the stones stick to the tar. the idea is that as cars drive over it the tires over time will help to pack it down and make it smooth. the only thing is that we don't get much traffic here because it is a culd-ah-sac. well got to go, see ya'll later.

VBS starts on Monday!!!1!11!11!!! i am really excited :) the only thing is that i am going to be helping out with the games outside and they are calling for it to get up to around 96F. other than that there isn't a whole lot new going to. i got the GPS unit for the ipaq working, i just have to find the CD that has the maps on it so that i can load a map of PA onto the ipaq. about two weeks ago i got to horn for a Ford Mustang at a yard sale and i am thinking about replacing the horn on the conversion van with the Mustang horn. well got to go, see ya'll later.

yesterday we went to church which was good. i am really excited about VBS starting! the only thing is that it is going to ber in the mid-90's tomorrow in the valley. they are all of the decorations for VBS up at church and they are really cool. after church we went to the Army Navy store because my brother wanted to look at the one knife that they sell. after that we went to walmart. i looked at the bikes that they are selling there and they are really cheap. i knew that the bikes that they sell there are cheap but recently they started selling road bikes and i have been reading a lot about road bikes so i know a little bit about how to tell if a bike is a cheap one or not and the road bikes that they sell are really cheap too. i also looked at new shoes but they didn't really have any that i liked that much, so i didn't buy any. at the VBS meeting the other week they decited that all of the leaders and paople helping should come about half a hour early on the first day so that we can make sure that everything gets off to a smooth start. i think we going to have to leave around 7:30 in the morning. VBS runs all week from 9:00am to noon and it takes us almost a hour to get there and on top of that everyone has to get ready in the morning which means that i might not have enough time to update this for a few days but i might, we will see. i will be helping with the games and stuff outside, which means i am probuly going to be in the sun a lot. i am going to have to remember to put on sunscreen. i am trying to get a little tan but i don't want to over do it. our church is starting a sports ministry and the guy who is leading it is Pastor Jim's one son and he is going to be doing some of the outside stuff so that's cool. after VBS tomorrow i think we might stop at the one bike shop in allentown because my brother needs new tires for his bike. i am also hoping that we will be able to go to the Rodale park in Trexlertown. the park has a hiking/biking traik and a paved track for inline skating and biking and that sort of stuff. we have gone there a couple times and it was a lot of fun. the one time that we went it it was for a thing that our church was doing so there were a couple famliys from church there which was really cool. i like biking a lot and right now i am trying to decide wether i should start saving for a new bike or just upgade the bike that i have right now. well got to go, see ya'll later!

well VBS went great! we had 16 kids who came to know Christ as their savor!!!! i had so much fun that i was kind of upset for a little while when we got home. i already can't wait for VBS next year. during VBS i tryed to get slightly tan by using slightly less sunscreen then i normuly use but the sunscreen that i was using was SPF 50 so i didn't get very tan at all. the thing is that i couldn't just go without sunscreen because i would end up getting sunburned pretty quick. on one of the first days of VBS there were two little girls who came up to me before games and asked if i could watch their stuffed animals for them which i did. those two little girls might not have known it at the time but i guess you can say that they made my day :). i didn't really see much of the inside part of the VBS program because i was outside all of the time, pretty much the only times that i went inside the church was to get a broom to sweep the stones off of the pavement where the kids were going to play with sidewalk chalk. i helped set up the games and i also helped out with some of the games too. after the last group was done each day i helped carry the games and stuff into church and put them in Quay's office. the first couple days of VBS were really hot, the tempachure was in the mid 90's and we were outside in it for three hours, but it was still fun. about half way through VBS it rained in the afternoon and the next day it was partly cloudy so it was in the 80's which wasn't as bad. on one of the first days of VBS after we got home my brother and i want for a bike ride and there was a couplekids who were i guess hanging out and we rode by them. i get nervus when we have to ride by them because a couple times they have tryed to race us with a small gas powered scooter. a little bit later we rode by them again and i guess this time they tried to throw a rock at one of us and the rock ended up hitting the one wheel of my brother's bike. i'm not too happy about that but hopfuly it doesn't happen again. i don't want to see a whole lot about it right now because i don't think my mom or dad would want me to. yesterday before VBS we saw a Acura NSX which was really cool. the water in the pool is looking a lot better then it was before. the one day after we got home from VBS we checked the pool and found that the water was almost crystal clear and the water temp was 74F which is really warm. i need to get new shoes soon so i am trying to get enough money to get a pair of Heelys skate shoes. i took a lot of pictures during VBS and i will post a couple of them soon. we are going to be busy over the next couple of days because we need to strighten up the house so that we can have a guy come over and do a insect inspection. i'm starting to get nervus because i have a dentist appiontment on the 19th to get some of my caviteys filled so please be praying for me that if the LORD is willing that He will heal me because i really, really don't want to have to go through this again with having caviteys filled and stuff. i looked at my bike and found that the one sprocket has a part that is broken off and a lot of the teeth are really worn, so i am going to have to get a new one. i'm not sure if a should try to get a new one or if i should look into getting a new bike because i'm not sure if the sprocket on my bike can be replaced. our church is starting a new sports ministry and our pastor's son is in charge. i worked with him during VBS and he is a really cool guy. he said that he wants to start a bike group for people who go to our church and are into biking which is really exciting because my brother and i are really into biking. i don't think it is like we are going to get together for a short bike ride every once and a while, i think it is going to be more sereuse biking like 10, 15, or 20 miles insted of just a mile or two. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well not much going on right now. we are making a lot of progress with cleaning the house, so that's good. the other night our dad whoke me up at 1:00 in the morning because he needed help cleaning the cooling coils that are under the refrigerater. there was a lot of dust on the coils and our mom said that she thought she smelled something that was hot. yesterday we went in the pool and this time the water was almost perficly cleari am trying to get some more money right now so i am going try selling a few things on ebay. i am already selling a R/C transmitter that i don't need. i was going to keep it for a while but i decited to sell it because i don't need it and i don't have the recever that goes with it. i am hoping to start learning to drive soon. i want to get my license even more now because of the sports ministry that our church is starting. i am a dentist appionment on thursday at 9:00 in the morning and i'm nervus about the whole thing so please be praying for me. think i will try to post some pictures sometime today if i have enought time. we are going to be busy today and the next couple of days so we can finish cleaning the house. the guy who will be doing the pest inspection is coming on friday. the other day my brother and i went for a bike ride after dinner. we rode around with our road bikes for a little while then we went home to refill the water bottle that we were using and i also got my mountain bike out and i rode it for a little while. the rear tire was flat and i thought that maybe there was a hole or something but i put air in it and i checked it a day later and it still has air in it so i guess there aren't any holes. when i am riding really fast on the road the mountain bike sounds sort of like a car becasue of the tread on the front tire. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well i haven't been on very much over the last few days because i was grounded. the dentist appiontment went very well, they are very nice there and the dentist did such a good jop that even when she gave me the shots to numb my mouth i didn't really feel anything. the appiontment didn't even take half as long has a i thought it would. the transsmiter that i had on ebay sold for around $20, that's cool. yesterday my brother and i did a little driving around the duvelipment, we saw a bunch of deer, includding two fawns which are really cute. well got to go see ya'll later.

well yesterday was fun. our dad and i went and got garbage bags and then we stopped at a copuple yardsales, and then we went to the recycling center. after thatour dad took our mom and sister out to kmart so they could do some shopping. after they got home he played some golf in the yard for a short time until dinner. after dinner our sister and our dad went roller blading for a short time and my brother and i went for a short bike ride. after that my brother and our dad went for a drive so that my brother could pratice driving. after they got home i went out with our dad and drove around the duvelipment for a short time. after that i drove along some of the busyer roads around where we live. i didn't like going any faster then 20 or 25mph but once i was driving on busyer roads i felt more comfertable and i did more like 35 to 40 or maybe 50. well got to go, we need to get ready for church, see ya'll later.

we went to church yesterday which was cool. during the servise they showed a couple drawings that a arcitect make showing what the new church building might look like, it was very cool. it is so awsome to see how The LORD is blessing everything that our church has done and is doing. we stopped at Sports Athority after church to get a replacement punch bag for a punch bag thing that we got at a yardsale the other day. while we were there my brother and i looked at the airsoft stuff they sell and we also looked at the bicycles and golf clubs. i wanted to look at the skate shoes but i was more interested in looking at the bikes because i wanted to see how well they were built, they look like half decent bikes. when we got home i did some work on the van. i repainted some parts of the front of the van. my brother went for a drive with our dad and when they got back i went for a drive with our dad. i drove up past the Pocono raceway which was cool. i have found that a lot of other people on the road seem to want to go faster then me, maybe because i stay under the speed limit, oh well. after we got home my brother and i played airsoft for a little while then we had to stop because we had stuff to do and plus it was getting dark. star trek enterprise is on tonight, so that's cool, well got to go, see ya'll later.

well yestersday was cool. i drained and refilled the spa. i also spent more than a hour trying to find a good way of mounting the fog lights on the caravan, but there isn't any good way do mount them. i can mount the lights to the bumper but since the bumper is plastic the lights shake because the bumper isn't soild. i can mount them to the front of the hood but then the hood doesn't want to close because the mounting bolts for the lights hit the grill of the caravan. my sister has a orthadanist appionment this afternoon and then our one cat has a vet appiontment and i think i might our dad might let me drive to the vet. i don't think i'm going to drive my sister and dad to her appiontment because where the offise is there is a lot of traffic. a road work crew did some work on our end of the street, they put down tar and chip. i watched them work for a little while to tar and chip a road. there was a new Dirty Jobs episode on last night. it was about dirty machines. well got to go, see ya'll

boy yesterday was a exciting day. my brother and i did a lot of driving so that was cool. i did some driving in traffic. our dad had to go into strousburg to ship a box so i drove to staples and then back home. it invallved driving on a kind of winding road which was fun. our one cat had a vet appiontment and my brother drove part of the way but then our dad drove the rest of the way because we would have been late. my brother drove on the way back home. one of our other cats had a vet appiontment at 8:30PM and i drove to that. the road that i drove on is a road that is really busy when there is a lot of traffic, but yesterday there wasn't too much traffic. my brother and i stayed in the van because waiting room at the vet is really small. my brother saw some lightning off in the distence and then about 15 or 20 mineuts late it suddenly started to rain really hard but it only lasted for maybe 5 or 10 mineuts. when we got home everything was dry so it was a small storm. well got to go, see ya'll later.

well not a whole lot happened yesterday. we did some stuff outside and i replaced the batteries in the motion sensor at the end of the driveway. i also painted it so it blends in with the tree that it is mounted to. i still need to do the wiring for the fog lights that i installed on the caravan. we went in the pool yesterday which was cool. my brother bought two airsoft guns over the internet a couple days ago and they came yesterday. he bought a airsoft shotgun and m14 rifle. the other day i was looking at the hitch mount on the conversion van and i noticed that some of the metal was so rusted that if i hit it with a hammer chunks of rusted metal would fall off. i started to remove the hitch mount and the one bolt broke and a differnet part was so rusted that i was able to just bend it back and forth and t
