what do you tune a mandolin to? and when you do it, how do you do it(hitting how many strings at a time, turning tunning key) since the strings are in groups of two? thanks.

Low to high, it's GDAE. It's pretty easy to hit only one of the strings at a time if you use a pick, it's a little bit harder if you use your finger.
