The PRS Santana SE is only $569.99 new...I'd shell out the extra 70 bucks for a brand new one. However...you didn't say SE...if you're talking about the actual Santana model you won't find one of those anywhere near $500. See it here:

The BC Rich Mockingbird runs anywhere from $399-$699 depending on what model you're talking about. You can get a blemished version of the most expensive model (the $699 one) at M.F. for $449. See the list here:

The different Schecter C1 models run from $419-629:

The Schecter A1 runs from $459-559:

Basically the point of all that is that you could get a new one for a decent price, too.

You can always check on Ebay...there are always a lot of used and new guitars for sale. I bought my Takamine AE off there for about $125.00 below what my local dealer had it for. Check it out at:

I am sure you can find a good value on there!

Just something that I forgot to mention before... I heard one of the PRS Santana SE's a few months ago and the thing sounded sweet! The guy was playing it clean with no effects and it sounded great. He was strumming and it had a really tight sound that wasn't all jangly and twangy, but just perfect.
