Does anyone know where to find music for alto sax online? Preferably for Supertones songs, but anything would be helpful. Thanks,
Lee

The way I learn songs that have been recorded is: Just play the CD and try to play along. If you get stuck where to start, just keep playing the first note over and over until you get it.
Then get the second, third- once you've got a few notes, you can figure out what key its in & how many sharps/flats you have. Then its not too hard. It took me a long time when I first started transcribing music, but it gets easier!
I dunno of any sites that have ripped songs:
But, if you can find a midi file of it, this program called Finale (the standard for music writing on computers, imho) it will make a score for you out of the midi.
Good luck :)

Thanks alot for the help. I know it would probably be easier with actual written music, but doing it that way would probly make me learn it better. I'm not too good at theory and things like that, so as far as knowing what key the song is in and sharps and flats, i'm clueless, i'll just keep trying notes until they fit :) But now, i'm kinda up a creek with actually getting a saxophone. The person who i thought had one that i could borrow let her daughter have it, and she happens to live in Iowa, so I guess it's back to practicing guitar :) Again, thanks,
Lee

Very very very few people write music for insturments. You could probobly go buy a book from a store with music charts, but few people take time out to write it for free.
