are Aly and A.J. christian? I've heard them on some christian stations and stuff and I read a bio that said that they used to do acting and music in thier church. I was just wondering because as far as I know they aren't.

They're Christians as far as I know, but their music about as Christian as that of Jump5, meaning not very much.

my sister is a big fan of theirs. when they first started out (as in the church singing/acting stuff) their were in David T. Clydesdale musicals that tend to be very popular with church kid's drama programs. She's identified (one or both of) them on a couple of the practice CDs she has.

Hehe. I've been thourougly impressed with them on all accounts. I even actually own their CD (one of two pop records I own). I'd go so far to say that I'm a fan of theirs.
But yeah, anyways. They seems like good Christian girls, who actually play their own instruments, and have a smidge of talent as compared to, say, Hilary Duff, who just sucks.

I've recently discovered them. I did not think they were Christian AT ALL. Lol, they're are good... but they don't have much meaning like beau99 said.

Also for what it's worth, they have professed faith in numerous interviews, although not without being asked first. Which is smart, seeing as how their job is to be entertainers not missionaries (and no this will not go into that debate here).
