HEY!!!!!!!!! I GOTTA ZOOM AND IT WORKS. although i dont like it extremely well, the 505II has some pretty kewl effects on it.
and my fav. brand just depends on the type of pedal it is. if i could i would get a line 6 flextone 2 with pedal board. but i dont have all that. so i like jim dunlop wahs, boss gt-6, dod new extreme series as well as older models such as the death metal and others. i like dod overall except for a couple of pedals. but i would liike MY OWN BRAND of pedals. the ones that sound just perfect and u can always rely on for a decent price, not too much but not too cheap.

Zoom has something of a reputation for being noisy/hissy, but I tried one of the newer 505s just for grins at church the other day (ran it thru a piano amp, which is pretty sensitive to high-end hiss), and it sounded dead quiet when I wasn't playing.
I have a Korg/Toneworks AX1000G, and it works well...had an old Zoom 505, and it WAS noisy. The newer one was definitely better.
