paul meany is doing worship at his church, but earthsuit made a farewell album called "the rise of the modern simulation" which is VERY good. "elevator music" is a worship CD made at victory fellowship church, where paul leads worship, which is also a very good CD. you can purchase his new CD at www.mathmusic.com, math's website....
I've looked all over for the elevator music cd, the victory fellowship site, amazon and ebay, but can't find it any where. Can anybody tell me where to buy it?

No clue. I have their first CD and I downloaded most of their second disc but I'm unfamilar with "elevator music".
I do have Mutemath "control" and, while it's not as bold as Earthsuit, it was good.

Yeah, I don't remember hearing anything about that, I'm also unfamiliar with "elevator music"

First of all, it's probably not under the name "Earthsuit". I assume this is post-Suit, pre-Reset EP. So that means it's possible that the CD is either just under Paul Meany, or Math.
Try those. And if not. Heck. Send MuteMath a Myspace message and see if Darren or whoever is running the site can ask Paul for you.
For the record, I have heard of the "Elevator Music" CD, but I didn't think it had anything to do with The 'Suit.

Elevator Music has NOTHING to do with Earthsuit/Mutemath or any of those bands. it was a worship cd recorded at Victory for Victory. the only place to get the cd is from the church. you used to be able to order from the website but the link isn't up since the hurricane

Ok, first off, I feel that I should say that Elevator Music has PLENTY to do with Earthsuit/MuteMath. This cd is of Paul Meany leading praise and worship at Victory Fellowship Church and Paul Meany was the backup vocalist of Earthsuit and is the current lead vocalist of MuteMath, so therefore, it does have to do with both of those bands. Now on to the good part: In order to get a copy of this cd, call Victory Fellowship at 504-733-5005 and ask to order it. It's $13.00 plus $3.00 shipping. PEACE!

I asked Paul about Elevator Music last year when MuteMath played in Seattle and he told me that the band doesn't want to be associated with the CD because the sound of the music is so different than the MuteMath sound, and it was just Paul and some other worship leaders at Victory Fellowship who put it together. The sole purpose for the CD's existence is to be a worship CD that people in the church can listen to. Besides, it's just cover songs. But that doesn't stop it from being an awesome CD.
Probably my favorite track on the disc is number one, which is a cover of Tree63's song "Joy". And actually their rendition of the song is, in my opinion, better than Tree 63's.
I couldn't resist the temptation to ask Paul why the track transitions are so abrupt, and he explained that they held two live worship nights and recorded both, and then picked the best of each night to create the CD.
All that to say, this CD is a must-have for any Earthsuit/MuteMath fan's collection to be complete!
So because the church is still helping people in the area recover from the hurricane, why not buy a copy of the CD and support their ministry?
