its leaning more toward the horrible side of the spectrum, get the digitech rp100 for the same price.but much better quality tonally and otherwise
All multi-digital effects suck... don't waste your time man... go analog! All analog! Down with digital!
You ain't keepin' it rrreal!

jael,he seems to be a beginner so i doubt he would have enough money to go all anolag.unless he's 40 years old with a steady job.a multifx is great for a beginner, especially the rp100(spend and extra 100$ and get the rp300 :))
Tru Dat! Analog is pretty costly, have you seen the price for a US big muff? Or a Vintage Rat? You better be playing alot for that kind of money! But I suggest for most beginners to go with Danelectro... as seen on this web-site, alot of people like them. They don't give you the best tone in the world, but they are great. Tone-wise they'll usually score 6+ with most guitarists! They are the "Bang for your buck" #1 guitar products ever! They are 10 times better than any multi-effects because as you get better, your ear for tone will increase, and you will be able to tweak your sound just the way you like it!

multi effects ARE NOT BAD for beginners.a nice multi can last a beginner a year or so,and even going all dano will still be more expensive.buy 7-8 danos with poswer supplies ect, thta will be atleast over 300 $ for just dano stuff,i suggest gettign a multi, seeing what you like on it,then expand, besides nto all dano pedals are good, the only "outstanding" one are teh tremolo and eq(and the flanger too i guess) speaking of dano, what do yo uguys thinks about the phaser and compressor?how do they compare to their mxr counterparts(phase 90,dynacomp)
Actually, if you go to www.musiciansfriend.com you can find that they are selling Dano pedal kits. they have all the effects that a beginner might need according to his/her style of music. They have the blues kit, the metal kit etc... it'll cost the price of two multi-effects, but it'll be 5 times better sounding... check it out.

Analog is better, but multi effects are useful. I use a Korg Pandora's box for my PC until I can afford a POD. Only problem is I keeping wanting other pedals/guitars.
Is the Pandora any good? I heard some great stuff about it... The Pod is the future of digital, it's not absolutely there yet but absolutely nobody has come close to Line6 in digi-instuments.(aside from the similar products nowadays.)

If you can't afford the POD or want to wait for next Gen POD then get the Pandora. I have the second one. It is tiny, fits in my palm. I use it when I travel and for my PC. I don't think it is good for live perfomance unless you only use one sound per song.
I haven't heard the Blue one (new one) but I noticed it had more features and effects and a loop sampler. One cool thing mine has is you can plug a cd player in and if the song is in for instance in Eb then you can alter the pitch so you can be in tune with the song for practice.
ya'll really think it's terrible?? lol, Yeah I'm only 13 and i've never really played the electric(and i know 0 bout effects), but the clips I heard at musicians friend of it sounded good! What i'm planing to do is, i geuss, whenever the thing starts grating on my ears, i'll sell it for $100 again, cause they are normally $150 at Musicians friend. But yeah, thanks for ya'lls advice. It can be TO terrible can it????? -Adam
