Allrightee then guys... right now I own a Zoom 505
guitar pedal.. and it is 'allright', but as far as recording
goes... it is "allright" basically I want something better
because it doesn't do everything I would like it to do...
and the distortions sound really bad...

So, then my question is this... I am looking between a
Boss GT6 and a Roland GR33... $$$ is no contest... I just
the greatest and wisest options, and versatility... so far, I
am leaning toward the Roland GR33...

Our praise and worship band so far consists of me on th eguitar, and my keyboard that I ush 'play' on the music I programmed.
So that is why I was thinking the Roland...

Let me know what you guys think;)

Do you want guitar sounds or synth sounds?

The GR33 is strictly a guitar synth. It would be a good sound source, though, because it uses the JV series sound engine. If you can use it, get it. If you are looking for lots of different guitar sounds, this probably will not do it for you. If you are using a keyboard to play back seqences, then that means you probably will not be able to play all the parts so you will still need the keyboard. After saying all this, it would be interesting to incoperate a guitar synth into some songs.

I havn't seen a GT-6 yet, but I know the GT-5 is very good. I know the GT-6 uses some "modeled" amps and effects, so who knows how it sounds. I have heard good things about the wahs and the univibe effects.

So I guess it is up to you to try and decide what you need.
