My First Released Song (Girl On TV)

Hi people,
I have been writing songs for about 3 years now. None of them have been all that good until here lately, and they are still not great. Here is one of them called 'Girl On TV'. It is about girls constant struggle to always want to be the one on the runway or Television set. Here's goes....

GIRL ON TV

verse 1: The Girl on TV, is that what you wanna' be
The Girl on TV, smiling and Happy
The Girl on TV, she's not what she seems
The Girl on TV, never really says what she means
chorus: If you wanna' throw your life away
Straight down the drain well do it,

I just wish that you could see, there's so much more to be
Than some girl, some girl on the TV

And they didn't come back the same and unaffected

that is soooo true...coming from a girl's perspective, I can say that the pressure to be that "girl on TV" is so great....and too many people have bought into the idea that looks are everything and that is just not it. I love the song! :-)
