Yeah, I did. In fact, I loaned my Pax album to a friend that listens to 311 hoping that he'd like it. I'm pretty sure he will!

the most likely event is for someone to say "hey, they ripped of 311, i think i'll listen to 311."

I thought the same thing when I first heard one of their songs. I'm a big 311 fan, so I bought the Pax cd. The more I listen to it, the more I don't think they sound like 311.

Oh yeah, I race motocross and my bike number is 217!

they sound nothing like 311. if you think they do, you have only heard a few of their songs, and you need to learn more about a band before u start comparing them.

They mildly do, but they have a fantastic sound all their own. They've really grown since their younger days.
