So has anyone picked up the new David Crowder Band CD? If you have not I would encourage you to, I mean how often do you see over one hour worth of music these days? The cd has a lot of differant genres to it. One minute is is old hymns next it is modern day worship music next it is country and bluegrass and then it is punkish rock.

man o man....these guys are insaine. im officially a crowderhead.

I saw them a few months ago in concert and was just blown away...since then ive been breathing 'illuminate'. i'm listening to the cd right now and its amazing.

in the last few years ive stopped listening to all the CCM stuff and 'christian bands' cause its just sounds all so marketed with none of them trying to really create good music and just doing whatever is 'in'.

But the crowder band goes above and beyond. Just the way this cd and the last one has been put together with loops and everything....just experimenting. I'm blown away. Get the cd.

The things I like about Crowder the most is his unique style and his randomness(word?) on some of his songs.

It really is a great, unique album. The diversity kinda threw me at the first listen, but it's fun and keeps the album alive and fresh. I don't own any of the group's albums (mainly because we play most of their songs in our church's worship service :D ), but this one has really got to me in a good way.
