I bought this CD with the highest hopes and most anticipation I've had for a CD since Five Iron Frenzy's last CD came out.

To say the least, I was dissapointed. The new vocalist doesn't do it for me at all. Deep, growling vocals and a baritone voice. There's also quite a bit more singing than the previous releases.

The music has changed stylistically as well, becoming heavier and forsaking the melodies that made them stand out so much in the slew of metal(core) bands.

One highlight, however, is the fact that they use "It's Going to be Ok" and put words to it. It's nice to hear that song on there.

I really just had to get that off my chest as a dissapointed fatguy.

Is there a new vocalist?I thought when I saw them in concert it was the same guy but changed his vocal styles.

Actually it seemed pretty good to me.

I miss the old Nodes. Self Titled and Lost Senses, More Innocent was some gloden stuff. The Years To Come just dosn't seem like Nodes. :(

Precisely what I thought when I heard it. It's like The Misfits without Danzig. It just makes you want to jump off of a cliff when you hear it.

i just found these guys, and i like the little i've heard of all there albums. and i'll say the years to come is my favorite, i like hard music mixed with both growling and "normal" singing. straight screaming gets old fast.
