Awesome! I already want it!

I hope it is just as good as Songs to Burn Your Bridges By and that it has one of those just absolutely great songs like "The Spy Hunter".

Ok, it's not that bad I guess... just not my thing at all. I find it very grating on my nerves.

Project 86 is generally very grating on the nerves anyways. I can hardly stand to listen some of their stuff sometimes. But recently I've been a kinda of mood for their brand of heavy stuff.

That new song sounds good. Their new CD is the only other CD i'm looking forward to besides the new Switchfoot CD.

They have killer lyrics...really. The music is great on most songs, but the awesome lyrics really won me over. I do like the song, though, but its no Spy Hunter or Little Green Men.

It beats the crap outta little green men IMO

ChurchPunk 2

Why do you say that? Little Green Men had one of the coolest verse riffs ever in it...not much tecnicality in Sincerly, Ichabod. Not saying its not a cool song, I just wouldnt put it on the same level as LGM. All in opinion, I guess.

It is a cool song, but nothing beats the verse riff in "Little Green Men". Absolutely nothing. That is the greatest riff ever by Project 86. Even better, I saw them perform it in concert. That hooked me on to the song.

Hey, I like the song. It's a good one. I also have heard "Rebuttal". It is on my iPod, as are "Pipe Dream" and "Six Sirens". I basically like anything by Project 86.

However, I will let a mod handle this.

Their first two Cd's were best. I must agree. They're last two albums, in my opinion, sucked badly. However, this new CD sounds like a mix between Project (obviously), Marylin Manson, and P.O.D. But it's lacking some of the awesome guiter/bass parts that the old CD's has, which is what I loved so much about them.

I have allready decided to buy their new albulm. As for their others I thought their second one was the best. I admit their were only a couple of songs on "Songs to burn your Bridges by" like Spy Hunter and Sioux Lane Spirits.

Still a great song, though. Cant wait for the CD.

Well, I'm pretty pleased with pretty much all the new stuff I've heard. I think they're definately going back in the right direction (aka the P86 + Drawing Black Lines direction). It's not quite as brutal as those were, but they're definately going back to a more old school kinda sound, which is smart.

I just listened to the song and it sounds pretty good...only wish the words were easier to understand and it lacks the good beginning that LGM and the Spy Hunter had (1st song on new CD)

Necktie Remedy is the best song on there right now, as far as I'm concerned.

NR > Sincerly, Ichabod > Subject to Change > All of Me

That's how I'm rating the new songs so far.

Now you can pre-order the CD with the new DVD for only $20. I'll order it in a few days because I'm about to start a job.

Another new song called "Doomsday Stomp".I think I like "Subject to Change" the most out of all the songs they have on Purevolume.

Newest song "The Hand, The Furnace, The Straight Face".I think "All of Me" is still the best out of the new songs so far.

No, "All of Me" is the worst song they have up there.

I was gonna pick up the CD tomorrow, but I realized that I won't have time to go get it at Best Buy ($10!), so... It'll have to wait...

Haha, I suppose so. I guess I'm just thinking that all their songs will sound like Drawing Black Lines once again one day soon. I really don't like their lyrical and more melodic songs as much. That said, it's not a bad song. I just think it's the weakest one I've heard off the new album.

Plus, the early reviews are in from the P86 boards, and everyone that has it so far has said it's amazing. So, yep. Definately getting it (like that was in question before? Yeah right).

I have their first CD, the self-titled one, and it is definitely one of their harder CDs, up there with Songs To Burn Your Bridges By. This new one sounds like it will be pretty good too.

I didn't listen to any of the tracks on purevolume besides "Sincerely, Ichabod" because I wanted to hear it when I get the CD...I knew I was going to get it anyways. And buy it I did.

'Tis a good one.

Wah, I can't get it today. Best Buy closes at 9 and I'm sure revival here at school won't end until at least 9... maybe Wal-Mart... Actually, wait. I'm probably going to lunch with someone tomorrow... maybe then....

Aaaaaaack! Best Buy has it for $9.99, apparently. I wish I had known that earlier. I bought it at FYE today, because Project 86's website said they'd have a free poster...but no free poster was there. I paid an extra $5 for it. Argh.

So yeah, I have the record now, finally. I've only listened to half of it, so I'll say this so far, if you're a fan of TH and STBYBB, then you'll love this. If you love DBL like I do, you may not like it as much.

I will say though, "My Will Be a Dead Man" is like the best song title ever.

OK, I apparently listened to the wrong half of the album. The second half is quite awesome. Quite awesome indeed.

The new albulm rocks... my favorite song on it is "From December" followed by "My Will be a Dead Man" and "Subject to Change"

I had to go down to the States to get it (it doesn't get released in Canada until Nov 15 apparently), but I have it. I love it. I don't know if it quite tops Drawing Black Lines or Songs to Burn Your Bridges By, but it is definitely a worthy addition to their discography.

At this point I'm saying DBL>ATRWF>STBYBB.

I really didn't like STBYBB all that much (but it's far better than the Self Titled, or Truthless Heros.)

i got the cd the week it came out for 5 bucks cuz i got a coupon at one of their shows :D

anyway i think it is an amazing cd, i actually like Sincerly Ichabod better than Spy Hunter, it took me a while to get used to some of the new style of songs like Something We Can't Be but now i love every single song on this album, current favorite: From December cuz i'm listening to it right now ;)
