Wow, I had no idea that the album was being released so soon.
Is that going to be a cover of the Sufjan Stevens tune? :whoa:Yeah that's...interesting. But I'm fairly confident that Crowder & friends could pull off a pretty good cover, actually.

Is that going to be a cover of the Sufjan Stevens tune?

I found this on the DCB website. A Collision Song By Song (http://www.davidcrowderband.com/band/crowder/acollision.php)

Here is an excert from that:

o god where are you now? (in pickeral lake? pigeon? marquette? mackinaw?):

the bottom drops out. it is sure and quick and terrible. this song is a cover of sufjan stevens from his michigan cd. the parenthetical title conveys enough. it is a list of locales in the great lake state.

I found this on the DCB website. A Collision Song By Song (http://www.davidcrowderband.com/band/crowder/acollision.php)Thanks for the link. Now I'm really excited to hear the album, especially with some bluegrass elements mixed in.
I have heard some clips from the cd and it sounds O so awesome. Where did you listen to those clips?

The Crowder Band now has Here Is Our King streaming on their My Space (www.myspace.com/davidcrowderband).

If the rest of the songs sound this good I'll be very pleased.

"Everyone Wants To Go To Heaven But Nobody Wants To Die" is a cover of a Loretta Lynn tune. "I Saw The Light" is a Hank Williams cover.
