I just wondered if one of you brothers had any ideas about evangelism you wanted to shear. We normally split up in two groups. One praying, one praising. we don't use that many instruments, two guitars and a djambe (African drum). But then again it's not how many instruments you have that counts but using those you have and play for Jesus with a clean heart totally devoted to Him. Glory to God!

I mean , just go out in the streets playing for the Lord while you have someone praying for you back in the church or in the street. The idea is to draw the presence of God down so the people get touched by His love and come to us want to recieve the Lord, asking questions, sharing problems or whatever. I just wondered if You had some other smart ideas you use when evangelise?

Actually Jiggy Man, what you have there is a very good way of evangelizing (is it "s" or "z"?). Just letting others hear the word of God, be it through praise or sermon, is the first step of evangelizing. I commend you on a great start!
Having people answer questions is also another great idea because after you hear the Word, you want to know more about it. I remember before I was a true Christian, I would hear the Word but would have lots of burning questions, sort of like "Well if it's this way, then why does this appear as the result?" Again, you have that nailed down... AWESOME job bro!
For myself, evangelism is about going out to where the Word is not there or not as strong. Easy to preach to the convicted, hard to convict the unpreachable (yes you may quote me if you'd like). ;)
I follow something along your lines, but I use my personal experiences with my pain, my life apart from God as testimony to others that they may see God's miricles that worked in my life. Here in CA, people are very visual believers, and seeing other people's lives changed by God's wonderful and gracious hand makes their conviction with God that much stronger. Then again, this is just how I do it at our church. :)
