Hey guys, I've been a member of this message board for quite a while(Don't let my post count fool you), and I like reading the threads in which you have something to say. One of the biggest things that irks me about you 2 is that whenever you say something that God did, or a law he made is "sick","twisted","wrong", etc. keep in mind you are basing ALL of that stuff on your own values, and beliefs whereas we(the other people) are basing our arguements on the Bible. Believe it or not, through the course of time, people will change and I would venture out and guess that the people of today are much different than the people of the OT. Please keep this in mind in your future posts.
Thanks.

Are Karen and Jerrlylove christians?

Haven't heard Jerry directly say it, but it doesn't seem like it, and Karen M is not.

Thank you for your post HrtsonFreSingr :)

On the other hand I would like to make a comment that I never said that any of your beliefs were twisted or sick. We were both mentioning that you did not follow the OT Laws is all, but I never made comment on my opinions of such laws.

>>>Are Karen and Jerrlylove christians?<<<

No, I'm agnostic....and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Jerry is a daoist?

What was the purpose of this thread?

I've had numerous discussions with Jerrylove and he seems normal enough to me. If he's not a Christian, then why would you expect him to agree with what the Bible says (especially the OT)? If he is a Christian, then you need to back off and let God do his work.

God did not put you here to judge Jerrylove. God did not put you here to judge Karen M. If you have problems with their posts, then bring it up with a moderator. If they are inappropriate, then the Mod will deal with them. Otherwise, it might be a good idea to back off. They have opinions. They are human. You make just as many mistakes as them.

This thread is pretty pointless and pointed. It was unnecessary.

Ho Karen! This may seem like a cheap post, but everything in here has basically been answered :D

I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to have you here. I have been meaning to send you a PM, but I know that they are somewhat of a pain.

I really appriciate the way that you handle yourself in the debates. Keep searching for the truth!

Well, all that I really have to say is HI! :D I hope that you have a great day, and that you are blessed in the week to come!

Loving on Karen!

One of the biggest things that irks me about you 2 is that . . .
This is an attack on their character. Unnecessary. God says to build one another up.

Are Karen and Jerrlylove christians?

Haven't heard Jerry directly say it, but it doesn't seem like it, and Karen M is not.
Discussing the salvation of others? Unnecessary. God never gives anyone permission to know or discuss this - only God knows their hearts. This is gossip, plain and simple.

I think you have a very valid point about OT culture and today's culture. You did not need to bring Jerry and Karen into the picture. This thread would have been just as effective if you had said:

"Hey guys, I've been a member of this message board for quite a while (Don't let my post count fool you). Thanks."

This is not directed at anyone. This is not offensive or attacking anyone. As has been said a number of times, if you have an issue with an individual member, bring it up with them privately. That's what Private Messaging is for.

Also, I would suggest that you research your claims a little bit better. The laws in the OT that we no longer obey have nothing to do with the fact that we are in a different culture. Ceremonial laws and food laws were done away with when Christ came. The rest of the law could be evaluated in light of the fact that we are in a different culture. That would be a great discussion for a thread. Why don't we rename this thread and move on to that discussion?

I do have to agree that this seems to be a direct attack. It may not be what was intended, but it is how it comes across. I agree that this post would have been just as effective if you had left Jerry and Karen out of it.

Are you a guest... maybe i am confused. Well, since we have never offically met... Hi! Hope that all is going alright, and that you have a nice night.

PS. kid is not an attack on age... in fact, I have no idea how old that you are :D... I call everyone a kid...
Thought that I should clarify this!

Sorry, bud but I'm the kind of guy that likes to step on toes, usally it's the only way you can get their attention, even if I did say that instead of what I did, it's obvioulsy pointed at them. Also, on "judging" doesn't the bible say don't judege your brothers, as referring to brothers in christ(also when God says Build one another up, he is also reffering to Christian"brothers".)aren M directly said that she was not a Christian before I posted that and I was just passing on the info, fillup asked. :)

Actually..we are allowed to do "fruit inspection"

Luke

That is correct, fruit inspection is appropriate. But for two people that don't claim to be Christians, it's also rather pointless. This thread was unnecessary and was not edifying in any way.

This is the Word of God:
<center><font face=arial color=blue>For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? 13But those who are outside, God judges. (1 Corinthians 5:12-13a, NASB)</font></center>

On that note, the best thing to do is probably to close this thread.
