Why are you even in the Pillar forums if you don't like them? Do you just enjoy making other people mad? Seriously man, all that guy did was talk about how cool Pillars cover song was (and it is cool) and you go and make some comment on how you think Pillar sucks. I seriously doubt you have heard it, so if you haven't you have no room to comment. I am tired of you posting immature things in the forums. You need to stop. Just remember, I am not doing this to try to make you feel bad, and I don't dislike you for your comments. You just need to check yourself. I struggle with being very opinianted(spelling?) and I know its hard not to do, but, as Christians, we need to work on things like that. I don't know where it says this in the Bible (somewhere in the New Testament), but it says that we need to lift each other up, and to be respectfull of others opinions, even if you disagree with them. Its hard. I hate punk music and have a friend that loves it, and I have really gotten into stupid arguments with her over it. I realise that its just not worth it. Woah, sorry that was so long. Take care.

Well, he once said he liked Fireproof, but I know he doesn't like Where Do We Go From Here. And you really don't need to call people immature if they don't think a band is good. That's not right. I mean, even though I like Pillar, I try to respect other people's opinions. And it appears you need to as well.

SOJ was only stating his opinion.. He wasn't being nasty.

Never said his opinion was bad. He could have just presented it in a nicer manner, such as 'I don't think it was that great' or something to that effect. Thats all. I still don't understand why he would even look at something that was related to Pillar if he did'nt like the band...It dosent make much since. Also, this is not the first time he has been overly critical of someones opinion. But it dosent really matter...cause I am not really mad at him.

BECAUSE IT'S HIS JOB AS MODERATOR!!!! As a moderator, he's supposed to look through all the new posts to make sure whether or not there is something that should not have been said, or to make sure there isn't anything that would cause spam or anything. It is his job to look through everything. He probably saw this here and felt like he had to comment.

Even though you do have a point that he should have been nicer, you have to understand that not everyone on here think the same way you do. Some of them feel the way to get their opinion out there is to be blunt about it. I guess that is how Jon works.

pillar made it better.

Negative. Nobody can play a U2 song as well as U2.

so what do you think of the cover?

I'm not really into covers that change the genre of a song, but I did find myself enjoying the song when I saw them live.

Pillar is wierd to me...they rerelease the same CD like 3 different times with different stuff on it instead of making a different CD...they have like 3 copies of Fireproof and 2 of Where Do We Go From Here...It just doesn't make much sense to me...why don't they channel all that energy into new projects!?

I am a moderator. Maybe you will understand someday.

Do you just enjoy making other people mad?
Yes.

I am tired of you posting immature things in the forums. You need to stop.
And you, as The Great ChurchPunk 2, have every right to tell me what to do.

(Dad? Is that you?)

Just remember, I am not doing this to try to make you feel bad, and I don't dislike you for your comments.
Mmmmmmmmmmm.

No, you see, what I was stating were completely factual.

I realise that its just not worth it. Woah, sorry that was so long. Take care.
I understand. I really don't know why I'm responding to you. I know it's not worth it and all, but...

Also, this is not the first time he has been overly critical of someones opinion.
Show me where I've really been overly critical...because my first post here certainly wasn't it.

By the way, this is the end of this discussion in this thread. PM me if you want to argue more...but I can promise you that at this rate you're going to go nowhere.

I'll just take care of this one now. Any mention of Switchfoot in this thread is liable to get deleted. :) Yes, they're probably working on their tenth rerelease of The Beautiful Letdown--and I don't care which Switchfoot album you think is the best--this is not the place for it.

I failed to mention that one on purpose just for you Jon ;)

I just don't understand it...It makes me want to buy any or all of them just so I can get a different bonus song...Kind of like buying boxes of cereal for different toys or happy meals every week so you can get everything in one toy collection......it's just...ahhh!

Hey People!
Look, I want to apologise for my critsism of Jon yesterday. I was in a very bad mood, an I am sorry I took my anger out on you. You are completly right, I shoulndt have been so quick to jump down your throught. Sorry. That was my fault. I don't wish to argue any longer, cause I usaually don't like to. Yeah, and the 'He has done it in other places' comment was not factual. Sorry for ruining the post, everybody.

I will deactivate my usership (or whatever it is) and will never return. I have said way to many stupid things. Good bye!

No, you don't have to leave. You can stay. It was basically constructive criticism I gave you.

By the way you are forgiven.
