Fuzz..... You have NO IDEA what you're asking. "A" would be not only be high(for a guy) but a really bad key to play in because no one plays it like that. If it's too high for guitargirl, just sing an octave lower. lol

Adam & Aaron: Yes I can sing in A, too...just kinda low. Or I can tighten my abs up and sing normally in A...it's not terribly hard...I can sing fairly high...actually really high for someone who sings bass normally.

Okay, since everybody wants different keys I'm going to record some in the different keys....

For the key of G I'll use the chords Adam posted... For the key of A I'll just play Adams chords for G at the 2nd fret because I don't feel like transposing right now... That way playing a G with Capo 2 will make an A...yeah. Recordings coming shortly...

So I've recorded all these gosh darn clips... Oh yeah...all of them are MP3's of approx. 500KB or so in size...

First I'll start with the key of G (using Adam's posted and transposed chords):

yea... i'd prefer to do A... BUT... i'll do G if that will sound better and everyone else wants it... i think i can sing it... i was trying by singing along with brent's clip. its just a little low.. but i think i can handle it.
so basically... A is first choice and where i think i sound best... but i'm not gonna die with G... i think... so either one. ;) hehe

Adam...try right-clicking the files and using "Save target as..." and save them before playing them...that could help. Or if you have Winamp you can copy the link and go to Winamp, press Ctrl-L for Open Location, and paste the link in there and just stream the file that way.

I'm gonna use cakewalk to make a drum beat at 85 bpm. This isn't going to be me playing, it will be cakewalk. Then after all you guys record your parts, I'll take that beat out and put in my own with all the fancy stuff. Does Mickey have some of the site we can ues to upload stuff? I think useing the message baord will not be enough space.

Aaron, I have no other choice but to trust you and agree!!! SO, um you know what, Mickey and Kelly are runnin some kind of race tommorow(today for ya'll) and so we'll have to see about that. Cause I remember him saying that he has like 60Gb to work with each month. er, something like that, and he said that he's always pushing that limit.
