I'm trying to jump start this forum, so here we go. Just start talking about her!!! She's really cool, and i'm probably one of the very few that thinks she's pretty...:D-Adam

You're so funny, Adam! You have no idea how many guys have proposed to Jen...all of the guys must think she's hot, not just you! Most of my guy friends tell me they think she's gorgeous and they would date her in a heartbeat. It blows my mind how guys will look at a girl and say they would marry her, yet they don't anything about her... crazy.
Anyway, I just saw her in concert last night! If I get more time, I'll try to come back and post about it...

Wow, she travels far fast!!!
I saw her in concert Saturday night in Sacramento, CA!!!
She stopped by to play a couple of songs at the Youth Specialties National Youthworkers Convention. She was definitely sporting a new, "tough-girl" look. Showing a tatoo even (right shoulder, I think if I remember) - don't know if it's a recent addition or an older "redemption" though. She was wearing funky violet-lens glasses, too. If I knew nothing about her before that and saw her, I may have said, "Wow. John Lennon re-incarnated as a young woman!" She and the band played 5 songs, only one off the up-coming release, and I think it was the title cut. Anyways, she was rockin!

Amber, a bunch of guys ask her to marry them?? hmmm, she's probably just waiting on me to ask her....;) wow, she said at Celebrate freedom that she's hopin that if she can keep scout alive long enough God will bring somebody to come ask her out on a date!! Nate, she mentioned that she had just come from Sacramento...she had a terrible time trying to get out of the airport to fly to Lincoln (that's where I saw her...Lincoln, NE). It made for a funny story but I'm sure they were stressed to the max! Due to the increased security measures, she and Christa (her violinist) were both checked multiple times and Jen ended up forgetting a bag in the terminal and it was just a mess. She got into a huge fight with one of the security guards and almost got in big trouble...haha.
Anyway, she's always had that "tough girl" look in concert. She's had the tattoo for a long time, too. It's a crown of thorns on her right shoulder. She almost always wears tight leather pants and a tank top when she's playing...I think it's funny :p
The show in Lincoln was good but different for a Knapp show...I've seen her over 15 times now and this was different from any show I've seen. I can't really explain how it was different...I think the setting was just strange. She played a lot of the new stuff but my favorites were the oldies. I've got the new CD and I've been listening to it a lot lately and trying to get into it...but I've got to say that I still don't think it beats "Kansas" or "Lay it Down". My favorite off of "The Way I Am" is definitely <i>Fall Down</i>. It's amazing!

I'm not all that honestly sure that she owns very many Taylors. I've seen two Taylors (a 410 and a 714CE) and a couple of Gibson Les Paul models and that's about it for what she travels with......

Maybe she does, Fuzz....but I've only ever seen 2 Taylors come on stage with her, so I don't know. During her concert in Sacramento (only 5 songs, so not really a concert, but an appearance......but anyway) she used 2 different Les Paul guitars. One was indeed goldtop, but I forget the color of the other one, just remembering that the tech came out midway through the appearance and traded guitars with her. In Sacramento she didn't sling an acoustic at all....

I tend to really dig the more acoustic music. Kansas is my favorite album. I don't have the new one but I've heard parts of it. It was kinda not what I expected. Yeah, Jen's a sharp one with those Taylors. I think she does her own work on those. In her old website there was a caption for a picture that read "Techin' the Taylors." Yeah, from all I've heard, Taylor guitars rock. And from everything that I understand, they are a Christian guitar company. The one time that I saw her in concert was during the Supernatural tour with DCT and the W's. She was playing either a Fender strat or tele. Fuzz if she's got eight Taylors, is that more incentive to ask her to marry you?:p
