Tuned in EADGBE, of course...
Intro Riff / Transitional Riff:
E--|-x-|-x-|-x-|
B--|-x-|-x-|-x-|
G--|-4-|-3-|-8-|
D--|-x-|-x-|-x-|
A--|-2-|-1-|-6-|
E--|-0-|-0-|-0-|
Verses:
E--|-xx-|-xx-|-xx-|
B--|-xx-|-xx-|-xx-|
G--|-14-|-12-|-11-|
D--|-xx-|-xx-|-xx-|
A--|-12-|-10-|-09-|
E--|-xx-|-xx-|-xx-|
Chorus:
B C#m B C#m A E F# (2x)
A B A B A B
Bridge:
G A E
G A E
G A G A G A
E
Notes: I'm positive he's using power chords, so you can
ignore the C#m if you wish. The double B to C#m in the
chorus is that fast riff. Don't be fooled into thinking
it's supposed to be held for a long time.
In the bridge, I wrote E but that's shorthand for playing
the intro riff over. You'll get what I mean when you play
along with the CD.
As far as the intro riff goes, he might be leaving the
first one or two strings open while he plays, but that
could be a second guitar. Feel free to play around with it.
Thanks and God bless, ><> Mike

Great tab, there are no corrections from the chords but i played it in dropped d and it was a whole lot easier if you played it on the low d, a, d strings on the chorus, when it goes from b to c#m. Its just easier to play. That is all.

sounds great man good ear!!!

Minor note:
In this wonderful Intro/Verse tab (yeah, yeah), When it gets cosiderably louder on the intro and for the verses they add notes on the one and two strings, like so:
e |--0----0-------|
b |-----------9---|
g |--4----3--/8---|
d |--x----x---x---|
a |--2----1--/6---|
E |--0----0---0---|
If you play this tab the first way with your pointer and ring fingers, then slipping your pinky in for that 9(Ab) on the B string should be fairly easy.
That's all folks. God bless you. goodnight.
Will
PS- Good morning or afternoon for all those people who don't only go on the internet at night like me.

OCTAVES!!!!!!???????? what!?! the intro is not octaves, it's:
d---9-9-9-9---7-7--11-11---
a---9-9-9-9---7-7--11-11---
e---7-7-7-7---5-5---9--9---reapet a couple of times
AJS242004 - 2004-08-02
Actually if you listen to the song then try playing it. The octaves sound more correct. I think he pretty much nailed this tab. I can't find anything wrong with it really.

Hahathefunnyone - 2005-03-13
For the people making the corrections for the intro, you know you can play it many differnt ways and get the same sound...I mean try hitting
A|---0---
E|---5--- should sound the same in your tuned correctly

acoustikhawk - 2007-01-04
hey can someone try to post an acoustic version? ive tried to mute all the other strings, but its harder on acoutic than on electric. thanks a bunch!!
Jesus_dude - 2007-02-15
i've played it on both acoustic and electric just fine, i guess i'm me, and guitarplayer67, u got the intro right w/ the notes and all, but its actually played on the lower strings, then to high, but it sounds exactly the same:
e----------------0------
b-------------------0---
g----------------------3
d-9---11---6------------
a-7---7---7-------------
E-----------------------
