Metallistically - 2004-02-29

This and every other tab of this song are wrong. Obviously some of you have heard of powerchords, the most commonly used chord in rock 'n roll. Almost all the songs of any group like P.O.D. or Pillar will be powerchords. Powerchords are known by the 5 after them (i.e. F5). They'reeither three-note or two-note chords with no third note. To find out more on powerchords, consult a reliable book like Beginninh Rock Guitar, and don't do tabs if yu're gonna screw em up. It messes everything up.
F5 E5
D-3 (5th note) D-2
A-3 (2nd note) A-2
E-1 (1st note) E-0

Actually, Metallistically, he did do a power chord correctly. When you drop D the tuning of the guitar, you are making it easier to play. Youre
D--3
A--3
E--1

would become a

D--3
A--3
D--3

Try it sometime if you have chance, you may never want to go back. Many of the new rock bands (12 Stones, Falling Up, Pillar) use this tuning in their concerts. Good playing.

yeh, powerchords do exist, however, he's right (or she), this is called drop D, n they also have tons of diff alt. tunings, like drop C#, or tuning two steps up. This is why we should not judge ppl (tho who am i, i judge ppl all the time). Drop D n all is nice because is a diff way, the chord still the same but sounds a little bit different, but using powerchords, to me, seems like more dedication than just using one finger.

Drop D sounds pretty sweet. You can do a lot with it. But, I am the same, I don't like playing with one finger either it's boring. But then again, you can throw in some cool fills.

jesus_freak1589 - 2005-04-12

Some bands like kutless and some other great bands use the one finger power cord so yes they can be boring but they are also faster and easer for some new guitarest to play like my self.

umm... just a minor correction on the intro, sounds a lil bit closer to the cd

also, kinda obvious but makes it a bit harder, theres another guitar playing over it at just about each change going like this
